I always recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to everyone I know with a dog or cat. I've been with them since before they were nationwide (VPI) and now as Nationwide and they always are timely in filing claims and make it very easy to file a claim, update information, ask questions, etc. I definitely recommend them to everyone. One of the best decisions we ever made!
We think Nationwide's pet insurance is awesome! The claims are paid correctly and timely! There has never been a dispute or delay in payment. Even though we would provide our pets with the best care possible, being backed up with insurance just gives us peace of mind. It absolutely is the one of the best decisions we ever made for our Golden.

All three of my Shetland Sheepdogs have been insured with Nationwide Pet Insurance.
There is a reason I keep coming back to Nationwide Pet Insurance. I've gotten excellent coverage and service. The process of making claims from start to finish is easy to use. Over the course of nearly two decades and three separate dogs, I haven't experienced a time when I've been dissatisfied or felt underserved. Plus, their processes have continued to improve along with technological advances.

Unacceptable premium increases
Premium has increased 49% over two years without any major claims (only neutered and routine vaccination). This degree of increase is preposterous, and really unfair to customers who signed their dog up as a puppy, planning to establish long term coverage with a company (dog will now be subject to waiting periods and exclusions if the policy is switched).
