First time submitting a claim and it's taking a hellava long time. Plus customer service people seem very irritated and impatient when I call (come on, it's not like I'm bugging you every week!) Well, we'll see how much is paid on my claim for my final review. Used to have VPI and they were must faster and nicer even though they didn't pay much. Might have to go back to them.

Don't gamble in Vegas, get Pets Best
My dog had a persistent skin problem and the Vet recommended a $475 allergy test. The test showed that my dog had allergies to all sorts of pollen, chicken, duck, etc. We have eliminated most sources of the allergies and My dog has been quickly healing. The insurance claim was handled faster than it took to get the test results. So we are happy with the Vet, the test and the Pets Best insurance.

First time buyer of pet insurance. Have 2 dogs covered. A lifesaver in an emergency. Allowed me to provide the best care for my little buddy. Fast, efficient, and true to its word.

Trupanion sends and email when they receive my claim and when they process the claim. Both emails usually arrive the same day. I get the reimursement in approx 1 week from when they receive the claim. Every time I call I get a live person answering the phone. If I send an email I get a response the same day or next day. Overall awesome insurance company. Better customer service and ease of use than health insurance for people!

BEST PET INSURANCE EVER
Hello to you all!
Thanks for your concern about Nemo. He is doing much better. He is now able to eat and has gained back up to his 9 pounds. His surgery scar looks nicely healed, the drain site also. We are keeping fingers crossed that the rest of his recovery is going to continue as uneventful. We don't want any surprises down the road so we are being careful with him and keeping follow up appointments religiously!
It is so wonderful to see his wonderful personality return, and he is able to keep himself clean now. We didn't realize how sad his coat was looking until after the surgery. Wow! We were really dense not to see his problem, but it did come on gradually.
Thanks again for your concern, and thank you for covering his first bills for this and also for helping with our bills for his major sugery. I shudder to think what would have happened if we didn't have Healthy Paws insurance for him!

great health benefit for your per(s)
We unfortunately had a house fire where four pets were trapped inside. We were not at home. We received a call from a neighbor who informed us of the house fire. We rush home to fine our two dogs in the front yard on their doggie beds. One deceased, one survivor. Thankfully the Clark County Fire Department made an attempt to rescue our pets from the house. Sadly, we lost a dog, a cat and an bird to smoke inhalation. Our surviving dog, Hank, a german shepherd, suffered sever smoke inhalation and was taken to the veterinarian for smoke inhalation, He was in very bad shape and I was afraid that we would lose him too. A large veterarian bill would have been more than we could have afforded at that time of the fire. Fortunately, We have Embrace insurance and the worry of a large medical bill was the least of our concerns. At the time we purchased Pet Insurance, I admit, I had wondered how wise a purchase it would really be. Since the fire I am convinced it was as important as purchasing health insurance for anyone in my family. Hank was in the hospitalized for ten days. Thanks to the great skill of our veterarian and Embrace, we were able to bring Hank home. The security of knowing that a large pet medical bill would be covered was the best part of Embrace Pet Insurance. The bonus was the reimbursement check we received from the medical claim. We use the money to have a electronic pet door installed when our house was rebuilt. The monthly premium payments are worth the sacrifice to insure that my Pets will receive the best medical treatment.

excellent coverage, excellent service
Our 1 year 5 month old Welsh terrier showed signs of lethargy & poor appetite. After stays at the Emergency & personal vet hospitals, it turns out Radar had swallowed a piece of toy, causing an intestinal obstruction, requiring abdominal surgery to correct. He is now well on his way to recovery. I submitted the invoices to Trupanion & within 24 hrs and less, we had our claims processed. I also called customer service with a few questions & was given prompt & helpful information. The forms are also very simple & easy to fill out. In addition, I had some old invoices for other unrelated vet visits but they were past the 90 day submission requirement so I had not submitted them. Turns out, Trupanion has dropped the 90 day limit for claims & I was able to get those processed as well. We could not be more pleased with the service, coverage & excellent efforts by the Trupanion staff. Thank you!
