Pets Best is an over priced insurance company that works on a corporate level and has people in customer service who are trained in sales, but not humanity.By having unaffordable pet insurance rates, people cancel policies and animals do not get the care they need. Very dissapointing!!!!!!

I signed up with Trupanion 6 months ago when I adopted my greyhound. Very reasonable monthly premiums and I heard positive reviews about them. When my dog needed several stays at the emergency vet, Trupanion lived up to their promise and reimbursed me a good amount of the bill without any hassle. I was amazed and relieved!

My boxer/mastiff began developing a growth on the side of his chest, causing him significant irritation. This resulted in a couple vet exams and ultimately surgery, lab tests, and several prescriptions. At the same time, we decided to take the opportunity to neuter and chip him. I chose the Wellness Rewards Plus program, knowing that I would use all of it during this first year (with the neutering, etc.), with a $300 deductible. This plan worked perfectly, even with a complicated invoice with multiple items that spanned multiple aspects of my coverage and Rewards plan. I sent a letter with my claim forms to try to discern between the different procedures and costs, but ultimately it was unnecessary: Embrace maximized my coverage by placing each expense under the proper part of my coverage- I had nothing to dispute. In addition, they covered expenses on my invoices that I did not even try to claim and was unaware were covered (e.g. nail trimming covered by Wellness Rewards Plus program). They handled everything perfectly and I even learned some pleasant surprises about the extent of my coverage. I highly recommend the Wellness Rewards Plus program (especially if you have a large breed dog or a puppy in its first year), and I am extremely satisfied with their timeliness and clarity in their claims summaries and records.

I chose to insure my puppy at a whim, never thought I'd need it. A couple of months later he started limping. Congenital growth plate issues! Healthy Paws was the stressful part of his surgery and recovery.

I am so glad we decided on Healthy Paws this past September for our 2 year old Cocker Spaniel, Paisley. Almost 1 month after deciding on Healthy Paws, Paisley had an inflamed and irritated front paw. When we took him to the vet, they said they needed to put him under to be able to take out the object or source of irritation. Surgery! While I was glad we had Healthy Paws, this was our first claim and I was not sure what would be covered. Fortunately, both Paisley and our finances recovered nicely! Paisley is completely healed and out of the $447.70 vet bill, Healthy Paws reimbursed us $302.93 which was exactly what we signed on for, $100 deductible and 90% coverage. No hassles and no exclusions, everything was covered as you would expect! Thanks Healthy Paws for fast, friendly and efficient health care for Paisley. And the follow up from your Customer Care is friendly and top notch!

As someone who wanted the best for my rescue pup, I diligently researched all the pet insurance options available. The Embrace customer service team has been amazing and SO patient with me- insurance jargon can be very hard to understand, and their team does such a great job. I highly recommend this company. Also, be sure to fully understand what your policy is about prior to purchasing- that way, you can be sure that you're choosing the best option for your and your pet.

When I took our french bulldog puppy to our vet for her first check=up, she recommended that I buy pet insurance. Since this was the first time we had owned a dog, I took her recommendation, researched her two recommendation, and decided on Healthy Paws. I am SO grateful I did! Within one month, our puppy had eaten a poisonous mushroom and was on death's door. Given that we had insurance, I was able to make the decision to treat her, which involved a 6-day hospital stay. I am happy to say she made it through! Healthy Paws was very quick in reimbursing our claim, and also followed up with us personally to see how she was. Since then, we have had a few other issues, and each time Healthy Paws was efficient in claim review and reimbursement. Thank you Healthy Paws!!
