No-fuss procedure. I submitted my bills and was reimbursed immediately (minus my deductible). On top of it, I received a kind card from Trupanion about the loss of my pet.

Having this insurance for Murray Allowed us to make the best decision for Murray at a very difficult time. It took the worry about cost of a very expensive and potentially life saving surgery out of the picture . As a result we could choose the surgery and save our young dog as initially we were told without the surgery he could not do well. Fortunately once in surgery things were not as concerning as originally thought but the insurance allowed us to take the risk.

Nationwide is an amazing pet insurance company! We're got it for our 18 month old when we first got her at 2 months old. They have covered so much! The monthly payments are so reasonable considering how much we save each time we go to the vet.

Your first year Wellness benefit get used up quickly with a puppy, but it still helps. After the $250 annual deductible, pretty much all that I had was paid for. So far it has paid for itself with minor illness’s, hopefully I never need to use it for something major. I have a bullmastiff that had some gas and skin problems the cost $650 and $330 respectively. I highly recommend using the Vitusvet app, it makes it VERY easy. My only recommendation is that the claim gets processed faster than 3 weeks. For a large claim, it would be nice to have that money back in my pocket ASAP.

I love Nationwide! We have had our policy since we first brought Jasper home. Jasper is a very active dog with an active doggy lifestyle. It’s been such a relief to depend on Nationwide when emergencies (like eating a pair of leather work gloves) have come up.
