Awesome

This is my first experience with pet insurance and I must say I'm very impressed with Embrace! It was a wellness check, sent in my forms and had a quick response! They kept me informed every step! I am happy that I did my research and picked Embrace. I will recommend this to family and friends.

Pets Best - As Good As It Gets

I've had Pets Best coverage on my two dogs for the last three plus years. Unfortunately, I've had to submit a number of claims for accidents and illnesses. The claims process is online and easy. In each instance, the claims I've submitted have been quickly and fairly adjusted and paid. The money goes directly into my bank account and I've received emails detailing the payments. My entire experience with Pets Best has been very positive. I don't see how it could have been any better.

TEN STARS!!!!

My seven-year-old Jack Russell/Toy Fox terrier mix has been insured with healthy Paws since 2012. In the summer of 2014, she had a claim for a disc injury to her back that was treated with steroid medication and crate rest. The injury resolved after six weeks and she was back to her old self in a couple of months. There were no problems with processing of this claim at all with Healthy Paws - she had never had any prior symptoms for this injury.  Last weekend, out of the blue and for no apparent reason, she was in extreme pain and could not use her back legs. She must have jumped or twisted wrong. After undergoing a CT scan, it was determined that she ruptured a disc in her T12-13. We were devastated as we had only two options - let her live with pain and without use of her back legs or undergo spinal surgery. Thank goodness we had Healthy Paws pet insurance. Although we would have paid anything to get our baby back to normal, having this pet insurance make the decision easier. Our bill was nearly $4500, and we only have to pay $1,000 (they do not cover the initial consult or exam fees- only treatment) I have to admit that several times throughout the past couple of years, I had debated on canceling the coverage as I was paying $36 a month for "what if "something happens? Well, the WHAT IF what if came and I'm grateful I kept coverage on her. I have the 80% coverage with $100 deductible.  The claims process is easy- scan and email the bill, have your vet forward the records and within 24 - 48 hours, you get the claim processed. This time the surgeons office sent the bill and records directly to Healthy Paws, and within six hours I received a confirmation email that they were processing the claim. The next day, I received the email that the claim was processed, and the check was being issued. The Explanation of Benefits form was provided online and I knew exactly how much the check was going to be.  I'm happy to report that our dog is doing GREAT and she should be walking unassisted in no time - the surgery was a GREAT SUCCESS! Knowing I have insurance also gives me the option of having her undergo physical therapy at the doctor's office to ensure her proper treatment and healing. There are NO caps on the amount they pay towards your fur baby's treatment! Healthy Paws also sent a follow up email to see how she was doing - my own health insurance company has never done that!! I love Healthy Paws pet insurance. They were/are amazing!! TEN

What great people!

I've had ASPCA insurance on our 3 dogs for a long time. When one of them has a problem it sure helps me choose the best thing for them not just the cheapest treatment. Also, when I've called, the customer service staff is amazing! They call to check on our pet, not our payment! Actually have concern for our furry family. Who does that? Has your insurance company ever called to check on your welfare? Doubt it. I recommend them to friends all the time.

THE BEST!

Unfortunately my puppy (Sully) like most loves to taste test EVERYTHING! Earlier this week I noticed her appetite decreasing and vomiting started, immediately we went to the vet. To make a long story short after what seemed like a lifetime of back and forth visits and testing at the vet, we discovered a foreign object inside of her. She ended up having a major surgery last Tuesday and I ended up with a $3700.00 vet bill. Truepanion has been a life saver for me and my baby Sully. I've received regular emails with updates on Sully's claims and in lease than 1 week Trupanion has already started paying them. Their emails and customer service representatives are extremely personable, always acknowledging Sully throughout the conversations. My animals are my family and Trupanion understands that! Because of their fast turn around on claims and kindhearted staff I couldn't be happier with my choice for pet insurance. Thank you Trupanion for making this difficult time a little easier and stress free for Sully and I.

Wont cover any vet bills

I will never recommend this company to anyone! I called multiple times before I started a policy, what they told me seemed to good to be true. I asked multiple times, whats the catch. Sure enough after paying $50 a month for over a year, I finally had to use them. What a joke. $1200 vet bill that was broken up in 2 vet visits (so I could actually afford to pay it) and Trupanion says it is not the same problem! I called to verify it was indeed the same incident. They then said I need to have my vet email them a letter with all the info. So now I am begging my poor vet to take time out of his practice to email a ridiculous letter because one word was omitted from the issue description. On top of this they have changed my policy 3 times without telling me, resulting in being charged $10 more monthly for the last 7 months. So now I have to fight to not only get my vet bill paid, but reimbursed for the monthly fraud! Please take warning! This company is a scam. I know we all want to do whats best for our loved ones, but this will only stress and hurt you in the end!
