When my little 4 year old dachshund had a liver failure for an undetermined cause I was not ready to give up a fight to save her. She was certainly trying her best. She was hospitalized for 3 days and then vet follow ups daily for two weeks. She was on several medications and supplements. The vet bills were mounting up and I knew this would have been a major hardship on me however I could not let her be put to sleep because of the costs. My dog was diagnosed with kidney disease at very early age which had progressed during a two year period. The comfort knowing that Embrace has always covered the costs is absolutely amazing. Claims were handled efficiently and direct deposit payment was made within 1-2 weeks. Whenever I called they were friendly, helpful and compassionate. Recently put pet insurance on our newly adopted shelter dog, only had him 1 month and after 17 days of pet insurance he broke his back paw (4 bones), the first 5 claims have been reimbursed 80% within 7 business days. We are right now around 3K in vet bills with surgery, plates, x-rays, etc etc...no hassle, they did have to request more medical records from two different vets, but communication, follow up e-mails, and live chat customer service have all been very pleasant and I've had no issues what so ever. Insurance policy is clear and easy to understand - very very pleased!

My dog, Ruger, got into a little bit of trouble after injesting a seed pod from a Chinaberry tree, which is poisonous. He was suffering from gastroentritis and dehydration, for which he needed to be hospitalized overnight for IV fluids. The claims process for his initial hospitalization and follow up medications and visits have been nothing short of remarkable. I received immediate notification that his claims were received, and the reimbursement checks were in my mailbox less than 2 weeks from the initial filing date. When I received the explanation of benefits for his claims, I was very happy to see that Healthy Paws delivered on all fronts - I was reimbursed for 90% of my costs after the yearly deductible and exam fees were paid. There was no fine print, hidden non-covered services that popped up (like they did with a previous pet insurance company that I had dealt with in the past). It is so refreshing to deal with a company who deivers on their promises and has excellent customer service. I have recommended Healthy Paws to every pet owner I know! Human insurance compannies should be so efficient!

Again you are an amazing pet insurance company. My young dog was vomiting over 6 hours so I went to the ER. Apparently his kidney blood levels were extremely high. His progressive kidney disease changes rapidly. The night before he was eating well. Adjustments were made to increase his subcutaneous fluids - he now takes an entire bag (1 quart) daily. My dog is such a happy boy and enjoys life. He takes his fluids very well while resting and snuggling his head into his favorite blanket. Thank you for your quick turnaround on payment.

I am beyond pleased with Embrace. I was very skeptical about puppy insurance. We had a very expensive hospital stay for our puppy and decided to try it out. I choose Embrace based on reading reviews online. We have had them for 5 years now and I have not once been dissapointed. The claim process is very easy and fast (our dog likes to let us try it out - she loves going to the vet and tries to get there as often as possible). The staff is always checking in to be sure that you know they have recieved your claim/are processing/sent out a check, etc. I would (and have!) reccomend Embrace to anyone. I have a friends that have also used Embrace based on my experience and they have nothing but good things to say as well.

My GSD has a bilateral TPLO and without insurance would have been extremely expensive for me. For some people without insurance they may have to put their pet down from expense. I was so happy I had Healthy Paws insurance but even more thrilled when I actually sent in my claims. I was able to go to a specialist for this treatment and got first class care. When I submitted the claim it was almost immediate that Healthy Paws got right back to me to let me know they received it - then within hours my claim was processed. I have never had insurance like this even for myself. No hassle, extremely fast, and the claims were sent with easy to understand explanations. They paid 90% just like they said they would and also inquired how my dog was doing. A plus is also that they donate to rescues. This company talks the talk and walks the walk - just the best experience.
