I cannot say enough good things about this company. An annual deductible (as opposed to a per-incident deductible). Fantastic reimbursement plans (up to 90%). A comprehensive pre-existing condition review up front, so you know exactly what (if anything - and for our two dogs, we had NONE) pre-existing conditions might be excluded. Talk about peace of mind. Reimbursement is sent out in days upon receipt of the claim form. I could go on and on. I hope they are in business forever - simply fantastic.

My five-month old kitten sustained facial, gum and teeth injuries from a dog bite. Enlisting my pets with Health Paws was the best decision I have ever made. The claim was reviewed within 48 hours of their receipt of the medical records and paid within a week. They paid everything except the initial office visits which is fully disclosed in their coverage description. They kept me apprised of the claims process daily and followed-up with e-mails asking how my kitten was doing. I am awestruck at how easy the claims process is and how Healthy Paws paid everything they said would be paid according to my benefit level. I have recommended Healthy Paws to my veterinary clinic, the specialty clinic that cared for my kitten, my family and friends, co-workers, and strangers I meet who loves their pets. Coverage is affordable and the reward is we are able to give our pets the best care without having to worry about selling our home to do so. I read the reviews prior to signing up with Healthy Paws, and admit to being skeptical that an insurance company could indeed be so wonderful. Now, through an unfortunate situation, I am able to write my own review and impart how awesome Healthy Paws Insurance is. Life is a gamble, and hopefully my babies will not need to fall upon Healthy Paws again; however, I know they will be there if I need them. I sleep much easier at night knowing that. We live out in the boonies, and, after spending over $2000 in the past year for things like porcupine quills, stitches from barbed wire, and a javelina attack, we decided to purchase accident insurance for our two rambunctious dogs. Just two months later, Tex, our Cattle Dog mix, got cut up yet again, requiring staples and a drain. We were traveling and I didn't have any of our info with us, but the Pets Best rep I talked to on the phone was very helpful, found our account, and emailed us a claim form. We submitted it by mail, and less than a week later, got an email saying it had been paid in full.The claim amount came to just about what Tex's premium cost, so we feel like we are now ahead of the game.

Tyke is improving since having front limb surgery in early August. He may require more surgery for the same issue---that is not known yet. If so I hope that Trupanion is as easy to work with as they were on the first surgery. I faxed bills and the doctors' reports on one day, had a swift email reply from Trupanion on the following day that they had received them. One day later I had emails stating that the claims had been processed and approved. One week later our checks arrived.

Our little dog got a mass above her left toe and had to have surgery to remove it. They were great in getting the reimbrustment as fast and as they did and it was paid just as they stated 90% of total bill. The other pet insurance I had did not pay anywhere near, its great to know that they pay like they said without a lot of questions, and were nice enough to email a few days later to see how she was doing. That's what I call great service

Our little dog developed cataracts in both eyes and became completely blind. Had cataract surgery in one eye and her eyesight is back in same. Submitted claim and received very a prompt positive response and a check shortly thereafter. Very happy with Trupanion.

We have so far only used the Wellness Benefits and those reimbursements have arrived promptly and in the expected amount. The Embrace contact people have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to contact. Very customer oriented. Of course, they end each call with the encouragement to give our Nickie a belly-rub for them. I hope I never have to use the policy to collect on treatment for a major illness but I am so glad to know we have that protection for Nickie if he needs it.
