They are very fair
I have been very pleased with how my claims are handled. My dog has had numerous issues from the time we got her. She had many doctor appointments for her stomach including colitis and pancreatitis. One day I sent all her invoices in from over a few year period. I have a $1000 deductible per illness. I thought they might separate these invoices into different categories (illnesses) and that I wouldn't get anything but they processed as one claim as stomach issues. I only received a little back after the deductible but now if she has any more issues, she has met the deductible. The most recent claim was a follow up to mass cell tumors she had removed a couple of years ago and they covered it immediately. The money was back in my account in a few days.

Good to Talk to them
Keep people available to talk, it's good to be able to talk to a person, I called because I wanted to make sure I was not being signed up for poor health insurance service and was not sure who pet partners was, but Nancy fielded many questions properly.

The best coverage and the best customer service I have ever experienced.
I absolutely love how Nationwide pet insurance takes away the worry of having a sick pet. It allowed us to concentrate on getting our furbaby better and not so much on the financial impact.

Nationwide Insurance is wonderful
I love Nationwide pet insurance. The claims process is easy and transparent. My vet directly submits the bill electronically. I get an acknowledgment of receipt by Nationwide. I get reimbursed within a few weeks by electronic deposit to my checking. It seems they pay nearly everything, even very expensive treatments and what they don't pay, they explain very clearly. I understand the process. It is fair, honest, and fast.

I am glad that I have nationwide insurance
Always have found nationwide to be fair and just and a good asset to my pets’ health. Easy to submit and timely reimbursements.
Generally receive email that claim was received after 2-4 days from online submission through VitusVet then another 2-3 weeks to receive the reimbursement (or denial)

Great service
Our dog broke her femur in May so many many bills. The system you input bills is easy. It takes a month but you get results then.

I obtained policies for my two Weimaraner puppies beginning in 2004 when Nationwide was previously VPI. VPI was excellent and I have been so pleased that Nationwide Pet Insurance has conducted themselves in the same compassionate, and professional manner. Nationwide is receptive to questions/concerns and is responsive and pro active in their delivery of service. I have not had a negative experience and when I've needed help in regard to a rather complex claim, I spoke to Jennifer,a supervisor who quickly and efficiently solved the issue. Without reservation, I will continue to insure any future pets with Nationwide. I strongly believe that pet insurance is a wise decision. It has helped me to provide comprehensive healthcare for my fur babies.
