Better off putting your money in a mayonnaise jar
Stay away. You'd be better off putting money in a mayonnaise jar in the backyard every month. At least you'd have a way to pay the vet bills.We had been customers for several years and never made a claim. When we really needed it, their deceptive and sleazy renewal policy did not pay.
Our dog developed glaucoma in one eye. The eye needed to be removed because of the severity. Our regular vet referred us to a specialist. The vet suspected valley fever had attacked the eye and wanted to run tests to make sure our dog was healthy enough for the surgery. This meant a two week delay between diagnosis and surgery. Those two weeks took us into a new month and therefore a new policy.
ASPCA refused to cover the surgery because the illness manifested before the new policy. They do not consider your payment as a continuation of the policy, but a new policy. It's like you have purchased the policy for the first time. You can buy extra "bridge" coverage for the policy to be treated as a continuation. This of course is not stated up front. Every insurance agent I have talked to about this has been horrified that this insurance operates like this.

Awesome Service
I don't often write reviews of products or services. In the case of the service we received from Trupanion, I felt everyone should know what a great company they are to have on your side. One of our "kids" was diagnosed with pancreatitis, which means antibiotics, tests, fluids. The bills racked up. I submitted the claims for the visits and within two weeks, I had checks in hand. The latest claim I faxed to them at 9:00pm, the next day I had an email saying the check was on its way. I was very impressed and very pleased. Thanks Trupanion for the quick response and follow up!

A must have
Ugo has been battling allergies since he was very young. Healthy paws has made it less of a strain making sure he gets the proper treatment to get on a great path for a long healthy itch free life. Filing a claim is super easy and their response time is fast and impressive. Will get insurance for all of my future fur babies

Second ACL surgery
My dog just had his second TPLO surgery. I received a refund in less than two weeks. Embrace is easy to use and hassle free. I have recommended them to all my friends!

Glad she has insurance
My dog Nikki has been diagnosed with hypercalcemia. I am so glad she has the ASPCA insurance to help cover the cost of her illness. She is 12 years old, been on the plan for a few years. This is the first time she gets sick. So far I am happy with the prompt response from ASPCA.

Must have!!!!
I have been so impressed with Healthy Paws! Firstly, they are straightforward and there are no hidden policies. You know what your policy covers and what it doesn't. Processing a claim is so easy and convenient; online, fax, or phone. Recently I had submitted a very expensive claim. My dog was bit by a rattlesnake and required anti-venom and very close monitoring. I submitted the claim and within a day I received notification the claim was being processed and within a week I received my refund. I highly recommend pet insurance and I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Another speedy, hassle free claim
I submitted some claim forms that I had forgotten to submit with a previous illness my dane had and again, received such a quick response and reimbursement. Laura Bennett and her team are always quick to respond and very helpful. Claims are a hassle free process and they make sure they follow up every time. I am very happy with Embrace and thank Laura and her team for all their help!

Best pet insurance available
I researched all the pet insurance companies I could find and Healthy Paws really stood out because they were the only insurance company I could find that covers hereditary conditions. I have two dachshunds, so I am fearful they will develop bad backs. I've had a few issues with my dog Charlie needing some costly medical treatment and Healthy Paws has been excellent. They are soooo quick to process claims and always give exactly what I am owed with no questions. The customer service has been stellar as well, they are compassionate people wanting the best for my dog. I have been a customer for over 3 years now and had several claims all handled in the same quick and caring way. A+++++
