I am very happy that I have this insurance.
Through very serious health problem that lasted for many months, I was not disappointed with the response of my ASPCA pet health insurance. Courteous and prompt reply was issued each claim.

Feeling conflicted
My sweet beagle girl of 12 years recently passed away from TCC, a form of cancer in the bladder. We have been with Pets Best for several years. First, the good....Pets Best has always reimbursed quickly (1 to 2 weeks, sometimes 3). I have never had a problem where I had to dispute a payout/claim. We were covered under their old plan where we have a $7000 per condition pay out. Pets Best paid out over $6000 for our girls care until she passed away. Their customer service has always been top notch.
The bad...once our dogs became seniors, and Pets Best changed underwriter's our premiums sky rocketed. More than doubled. They claim it's due to rising costs and it's based on a review of location, veterinary costs rising. I don't buy it because vet costs did not more than double and no one else did either. I felt trapped because my girls had pre-existing conditions. I will say I took my younger pet and moved him to another insurance. When I asked to switch to the new insurance policies, I was told I could certainly do that but anything under the old policy, the old underwriter, would be considered pre-existing. That just made no sense to me. It's the same company. This is where I learned to find a strong insurance company that doesn't change underwriters. Pets Best have changed underwriters at least twice since I have been insured with them. Yes, they will work with you to lower your monthly premium but you sacrifice on coverage. We had to change to a $250 deductible (it was $100). At the end of the year, the price went up again, almost doubling. Once again, we had to sacrifice and increase the deductible to $500. I almost lowered the coverage to $2500 just because it was becoming so expensive. Thank God I didn't because less than a month of my policy renewal we found out my girl had cancer.
I was once a supporter of Pets Best. It appears their insurance is different now and maybe it's better but under our policy, there were several breed, hereditary exclusions and they don't cover holistic treatment. How I want to be a Pets Best supporter. In terms of customer service, and claim turn around, I have had nothing but great service. However, because of change in underwriters and my premiums more than doubling (we are talking hundreds of dollars per pet...two years in a row), I can no longer recommend Pets Best. I still have one more pet insured with them and once she passes on, I will move on. It really is too bad because I want to

very helpful and worthwhile
Having Embrace pet insurance has been very helpful in managing large vet expenses for my dog. Their customer service has been great and their coverage of claims has been fair and without any surprises.

Exceptional Service
So far I have submitted seven claims for the orthopedic problems our new puppy has. Embrace pet insurance has been terrific. No claim has taken more than two weeks and the latest was submitted directly by the one of our veterinarians took two days.

Completely satisfied w/ coverage claims & service
I got Embrace after I'd seen several celebrity recommendations and I did a bunch of research on different options. What I really liked about Embrace was that they had no breed restrictions, no age limits, and no limits on coverage for each breed based on typical breed-related issues. They do not cover pre-existing conditions, as most if not all other insurance companies do not, but that is to be expected. I also really liked that they offered decreasing deductibles for each year that a claim is not fulfilled. Recently my 5yo lab mix tore the CCL in both of her hind legs 5 days apart and underwent the surgery to replace them 4.5 weeks apart. The surgery and the recovery has been hard, but the claims process was not at all. So far we've spent over $9,000 and with a wedding coming up in 6 weeks, it is SUCH huge relief that we had Embrace to cover most of it of this tragedy! The times that I have had to call customer service have all been very pleasant and helpful. I've been recommending Embrace to nearly everyone I know!

Great Plans, Excellent Coverage/Claim Processing
I had used a previous pet insurance but found things weren't covered I thought would have been. We have now been with Trupaion for 7 years and they are amazing. I love being able to choose my deductible and the turn around on claims is fantastic, within a week. The staff has great customer service as well. My family also uses them and had a heafty claim only 3 months after signing up and everything was covered!! The only complaint I have is their fee's have gone up every year since Ive had coverage with Trupanion, not much, but every year.

terrible service
Everytime I submit a claim I get the run around, some kind of missing form or information, if the information is not requested on the claim form that your company sends out how are the doctors supposed to fill out YOUR form. its ridiculous

Its been frustrating trying to get allergies under control for my yellow lab but ASPCA pet insurance has made our lives much easier with a great turn around time on claims plus they have covered everything they said they would including allergy meds.

Great pet insurance
Good coverage for my dog. Claims are processed very efficiently and in a very timely manner. No hidden rules-everything is upfront and you know exactly what you are covered for. I wish my own health insurance would be as efficient.
