Thank God we had Embrace

Our Golden Retriever decided to eat a sofa while we were attending our sons Graduation in another state. We left her with our next door neighbor who was wonderful with her but didn't see what she had done. With all of the surgery that Annie required we were overwhelmed not only with caring for her but the bills. Embrace came through without any delay. Thank you Embrace.

Grateful we made the investment

Our pug got into the trash and ate some paper products that ultimately led to ER and regular vet visits, as well as major surgery, followed by an abscess. Our bills were close to $4k. So grateful we had insurance....while we are still out of pocket over $1k, thats way better than the full amount! I strongly recommend pet insurance for the catastrophic for sure.

Very thorough and great customer service

I was a little skeptical obtaining an insurance company for my fur kids but have heard over the years how it has helped those around me when the time came. I was referred to Embrace by my cousin and finally decided to join. So glad I did. So far, I've submitted two claims for their annual vaccines and received full reimbursement under their plan. Glad to know they have the care that's need should something happen in the future. And great customer service.

ASPCA Makes It Easy

I recently filed two claims under my ASPCA pet insurance, one for each of my dogs, Schultz and Honey. ASPCA claim forms are very easy to complete; the questions are very straightforward. It takes less than 30 minutes to print out the forms, answer the questions, attach the vet's invoice and get the package in the mail. ASPCA sent regular email updates on the process, especially when there was a delay in getting additional information regarding Schultz's illness from the vet. ASPCA kept me updated on their attempts to contact the vet and notified me immediately when all the information had been received and the claim processed. They notified me the same day that the reimbursement check was on its way. I have had insurance on both dogs for many years and ASPCA always fulfills its obligations under our contract.

Great coverage and quick claims

I highly recommend this insurance. I love the wellness add on. That helps with the regular vet visits and meds. Unfortunately, we had to file a claim shortly after starting our policy. The reimbursement was a quick process, and they even followed up to make sure we received the check. The claim would have been even quicker had I already sent in the requested paperwork from the vet.

Always A Trupanion Client

We adopted our fur baby, Katie on Valentines of 2011 and since then she has incontinence. Unfortunately in the past year or so, she has been diagnosed with Degenerative Joint Disease. Due to her pain, she is taking a pain pill. Our Katie takes Pronin, Vetprofen and Gabapentin on a daily basis. Trupanion has, in a timely manner, processed her claims. We have recently met our deductibles for 2 of her medications. Thank you, Trupanion for having an excellent staff and insurance coverage for Katie.

Best choice after reviewing top 6 in depth

We added French Bulldog to our family after much consideration and knowing the health issues of the breed. Upon joining several Facebook Frenchie groups, it became clear that Pet Insurance might be something to consider. It was also clear that locking it down before they have problems was wise, owing to the pre-existing conditions clause which is common in all plans. It was a hard sell for my husband...I'm not going to lie. We took quite a bit of teasing about our 'Dog Insurance', but having a pet-centric professional background, I know how much vet bills, can cost...not just for the one treatment, but for ongoing conditions. I researched like a mad woman, talked with several vets and got estimated costs for 'Bull-breed' problems like allergies or back surgeries, even made a graph and pro/con list....is there anything I won't do for this dog? I despise research!! I checked out and called the top 6 companies and in the end, chose Healthy Paws. Their customer service and App that allows you to snap a photo of the bill and submit from your phone (because who has time for paperwork and scanning) put them 1st for me. I liked choosing my coverage and deductible...which is yearly, not each visit...watch out! And while they don't cover the actual office visit, they cover everything else. We decided on the 90% coverage for about $42 monthly. It was not the cheapest, but it was the most comprehensive in case of emergencies for the price. If he ever has anything major...allergies, surgery, accident in his lifetime, the accumulated cost of the yearly deductibles and monthly fees will have paid for itself. Even my husband admitted it. We insured him shortly before his 1st birthday and hadn't even made a claim until almost one year in. Flapjack is a healthy boy, thankfully. But a few months ago he had a tummy issue....half the deductible met. Next was an eye infection...deductible almost met...then...Xmas Eve ( of course it's at Christmas!) he breaks out in sores and I freak out....Vet visit, lab tests, skin scrapes....Ugh. I didn't have to think about it...Insurance. I submitted the nearly $600 bill and crossed my fingers. Not only did they review and process my claim in 24 hours, I had a check within the week. We are now officially ahead financially for the year with the insurance than we would have been out of pocket. I am happy and impressed with every customer service person I have dealt with and with their overall operation. In my opinion a great value fo
