Pets Best is truly the BEST. The website is extremely easy to use from adding another pet to submitting a claim, it just couldn't be any easier. The claim process is user friendly, the way in which the decision was reached is also easy to understand and payment was in my mailbox within days. I have recommended Pets Best to my friends and family and will continue to do so.

Great coverage, but response time of claim was slower than expected.
Sasha got bit by a copperhead and needed to be treated. She got bit on the tongue and was drooling and bleeding. We had to take her to an emergency vet clinic due to the late hour of the bite. She stayed overnight and was treated. The total claim was about $1000. The insurance paid 90% after the annual deductible, but it took several weeks to get reimbursed.

You are very quick to settle the bills we send you and never dispute a claim. We are very happy with the coverage you provide.
We have been impressed with the quality of the insurance program we purchased. It has a very wide range of services it covers. We are very satisfied with amount of reimbursements we received. This every pet owner should have a policy like this.

Healthy Paws is the best pet health insurance!
Healthy Paws is a wonderful company! I cannot say that about any other insurance companies I have experience with (including human). Lexie, my Dobe has had two surgeries over the past couple of weeks. Healthy Paws is simple to use and payouts are quick. There has been no quibbling over loopholes or legalese. I have been able to concentrate on Lexie’s health, not on how to pay the bills. They are also compassionate, checking with me on how she’s doing. My health insurance had never done this! I find Healthy Paws to be ethical and impressive!

Terrible claims handling...they only look to deny coverage
I filed two claims for two separate incidents and both were denied. I provided all supporting documention and letters from my vet showing pre existing conditions were not present at the inception of the policy and waiting period and the claim still denied. They do not follow their own policy guidelines and i will be filing a bad faith claim against them to recover the policy benefits I’m entitled to. This company does not seek to indemnify...they look for any reason to deny coverage. This is the antithesis of what an insurance company is here to do.
