We've been a customer for four years with three cats. We have a zero deductible, and the coverage is decently priced, but we just had a rate hike. While I wish it was more reasonable, we'll never leave. I've never had a claim denied. They are always there, always willing, always kind, ever -single- time I call for help. It really is that easy folks. Just get the ins. You'll be happy you did. Our cat has on going care and medication issues. All I have to do is submit the receipt when I pick up her monthly medications, they reimburse 90%. Done. What else do you need?

Excellent Insurance!
After reading reviews I decided to get Healthy Paws insurance just in case, although my dog is mostly indoors and even when outdoors has a penned area. She ate a shelled peanut, which got stuck in her intestine and had to have surgery to get it out. The claims process was very easy and the representatives on the phone and through email were very responsive. I got my checks very quickly (within a few days of submitting all the paperwork)!! Excellent service and extremely grateful that I chose Healthy Paws!!! Recommending to all my friends!

Trial Plan is a Joke
I had the 60 day trail plan - which was a total joke. First they never sent the policy documents. They said they sent them, but I had to call and ask for them after 30 days had passed. During that time, I submitted a claim which was not covered on the trial plan, but, of course, would have been covered with their standard plan. I prefer to go with a company that doesn't use smoke and mirrors tactics to gain your trust. The icing on the cake was that it took them almost two months after I filed the claim to tell me that it wasn't covered. I guess they were hoping I'd sign up in the mean time. Glad I went with another insurer!!!

Healthy Paws is awesome.
I was super pleased with Healthy Paws. My dog Tashi had to have hip replacement surgery because his hip was so damaged that he was looking at a life of pain and/or pain medications. Healthy Paws handled the claims for his care and then his surgery so fast and paid the claim just as the policy stated. I had opted for the 90% plan and they paid their share right away. Now my Tashi will be able to live a pain-free life.

Excellent Pet insurance and great customer service
Unfortunately, had a serious issue with my bulldog several weeks ago and Embrace insurance provided excellent customer service and proactively did everything possible to support us during this difficult time. I have had several dogs over the last several years with various insurance companies, yet Embrace Pet insurance is the best possible coverage and customer service oriented company I have seen to date. They are a top notch company and will continue be recommending them to friends and family going forward.

Kind and reliable.
All of the claims I have submitted have been handled quickly and fairly. They have paid what they said they would pay. When one of my dogs died, someone from their management called to see how we were doing. I thought that was very kind of her. She allowed me to share my grief over my lost pet.

great customer service
This is my first experience with pet insurance. After many years of being pet owners, we recently adopted 2 rescue dogs. Not knowing backgrounds of the dogs, we thought it might be a good move. One of our dogs had some minor health problems from the beginning which were considered pre-existing, but by the time we had our first annual physical and the wellness exam was covered, I felt it was a good thing. Then our 2nd dog came down with some serious issues which will take considerable time to treat. Embrace has been responsive to all communications and quick to reimburse claims. We realize we made a great choice with Embrace.

We will insure our furbaby with no one else!
This April, Khan was diagnosed with an eye ulcer that just would not leave. After multiple vet visits, he was finally given a clean bill of health, but the ulcer came back much worse than before. Less than 14 hours after the 2nd ulcer was found, his eye ruptured. We had to rush him to the ER vet at 1 AM and pray that they could save his eye. They were able to keep him stable until the eye surgeon was available, and they operated first thing in the morning. The surgery was successful, and Khan is currently recuperating nicely, and there is a good chance that he will have at least partial vision in the eye. Again, we couldn't have afforded to save his eye without Healthy Paws- the total bill was approximately $3800, and our portion, after reimbursement, was only $500. In addition, the 7 different claims have all been processed within 3 business days, and we've always gotten them within a week. No waiting months! The phone reps are always incredibly kind also, and they always email to check up on him. Khan will never be insured with anyone else!

Overall pleasant service
Embrace staff have generally been informative and pleasant to communicate with. I have had extensive e-mail communication with Embracer reps, who have helped clarify my pet's profile, and assistance with updating our information.
