Could Not Have Asked For A Better Experience!

My 6 year old Boston Terrier detached both of his retinas shaking a toy with his head. I was completely distraught at the thought of my baby going blind while he still has so much energy and life in him. He could no longer go on hikes or be in the backyard along because he kept falling into our pool not being able to see the edge. When I got a quote for the surgery I immediately started crying, it was the cost of a car! I called Healthy Paws, still crying off and on and asked them what they would cover if anything. The woman who I spoke with was so kind and patient and automatically made me feel better. When she told me they would cover 80% I started crying again, but this time tears of joy! Not only did they reimburse me 80% but the check came extremely fast and I even got a few follow up emails asking if Clyde was ok and that the whole Healthy Paws family was sending him hugs and kisses. If only humans were treated this well by their health insurance providers. Thank you thank you Healthy Paws!

So grateful for Healthy Paws insurance.

I am so grateful that I signed up with healthy paws. I've had quite a few issues with my pets one being a very expensive surgery that I couldn't afford to pay the amount up front, and healthy paws did a direct pay for me to the hospital for the 90% reimbursement. I've never had any problems with reimbursement and they are very prompt in the return. When ever I've called always spoke to a live person not a recording. They are truly animal lovers.

Worst Pet Insurance

We signed up with Nationwide for our little beagle. We wanted the insurance just in case something happen to him as we was getting older. We rescued him from a shelter, and never had any problems. After having Nationwide and paying into it for a couple months, we found out our little guy had lung cancer. We had no idea, and the cancer was so big that it must have been there all along....After finding this out, we knew that the insurance would not cover it because it was "pre existing" - - but Nationwide did everything in its power to pay NOTHING back - even if it was not pertaining to his lung cancer. I had to call the company SO many times; and i was always told i would get a call back - but i never did. So i had to keep calling back about my original concern. After they stated that they were going to refund my monthly payments back because since this was pre existing, we should have never been enrolled in the first place. Today is 10/06/2016 - and i have yet to see a dime from that company. The worst people i have had to deal with.

This insurance is AMAZING

I've had the insurance for four years and it is the least expensive I could find. They cover up to 80% which is a great help. The claim process is very easy to utilize and their payment response takes a week, which is fast for most insurance companies. 100% satisfied.

Not there when you need them

Never a claim until my dog became terminally ill. Took him in and he passed away at vet. Nationwide is doing everything possible not to pay demanding years of records before they will review. DO NOT USE NATIONWIDE.

Great insurance

Great insurance, and great people that work there,so glad I have it ,my Cat is 9years old,and the first time I had to use the insurance.and good outcome, would recommend and have recommended it too friends.My Mickey cat it's good now. Thanks

So far, so good!

Although this claim was a small one - just an office visit with an x-ray, the bill was high enough to *almost* meet my deductible. It was processed very quickly, and we are fully prepared *just in case* our cat Radegast has to go back in for follow up care!
