My dog is 13 1/2 and has been pretty healthy. The few times I could claim I had not met the deductible so overall I have paid a lot for insurance but have gotten very little $$ in return for any vet visit

Better experience before my last claim.

My experience with Trupanion is usually quick and easy with lots of communication. However, this time, no email was sent to me saying they have received my claim, only that my claim was approved 2 days later. I became stressed that my claim was not received so I asked my vet to re-send my claim, which then became a duplicate claim at Trupanion.
