Aspca pet insurance has been very reliable and have helped a ton with reimbursements on vet Bulls as we struggled to figure out what was wrong with our dog. Once we finally followed up and got her on meds, they followed up to find out if she was feeling better and if there's anything else they can do to help. I was really impressed with the service and the genuine people I spoke with (like bob).

Very satisfied customer
This is the first time I have purchased Pet insurance and I chose Healthy Paws based on the reviews. Within 1 month of getting my puppy, he fell and broke his leg. I sent in the claim for $4500 and waited a couple of weeks (the delay was because the vet hospital was not sending the records). After I made several attempts to get this done, a Healthy Paws representative finally made the initiative to contact the hospital directly to get the records. Within 24 hours the claim was processed and I received a check for $3100 less than 4 days later!!
Most insurances (health, car etc) try NOT to cover claims so I was so surprised that this all went so smoothly with Healthy Paws.
I now recommend it to friends and am thinking of signing up my cats as well.

Expert Claim Handling and Customer Service
Our pet underwent surgery for bladder stones and a liver shunt. All of our claims were paid promptly and accurately. Embrace Pet Insurance has a very knowledgeable, personable and efficient Claims and Customer Service team. One of the best I've ever worked with.

Outrageous Rate Increase
We had VPI/Nationwide insurance for a year. They paid partial claims quickly but they were only for routine examinations. There was nothing major. My biggest problem with them in a year my policy JUMPED from $527.85 from 3/16/15 to $647.13 and that's with a 5% group discount. Now I am looking for another company!

Payment of 3rd Claim
Submitted a claim for services on 12/30/15. Company took 15 days to process the claim instead of 5 days which is the advertised promise. Kept being called by Underwriting or customer service twice to ask if my dog, who is only 2 years old and who I've only had since 4/15 had seen another vet. Told them no. Received another call several days later asking again if my dog had been seen by another vet other than the one I was submitting the bill for. I knew what they were getting at; they were trying to say that this condition was a pre-existing condition so they wouldn't have to pay the claim!!! There was no pre-existing condition for my dog but this is what they were "digging" for. THey had never questioned the first two claims, but questioned this one!!! I thought this insurance company was the best pet insurance I could get for my dog. However, they are just like all the rest; they like it when you pay your premium, just as long as the animal doesn't have too many claims. I get this to mean that even though my dog still has the problem for which she sought medical treatment, that any further bills I submit will be scrutinized under a microscope and payment will be delayed. This company is horrible, just like all the rest. Be careful, because if your pet gets sick, and it takes several tests and/or vet visits to determine the problem, your claim will be delayed and/or possibly denied!

Our First experience with VPI
At first dealing with pet insurance was frustrating and confusing, but once I got the gist of it, I have had no problems what-so-ever. When you first file a claim they do ask for the pets 3 year history. After that they do need a one year history with each claim. Its not a problem to obtain at the veterinary clinic. Some claims only take a few days to process and you receive your reimbursement within 2 weeks. So far after insuring 3 dogs, I have no complaints.

Highly Recommend Healthypaws
I signed up for healthypaws a few months after getting our puppy from a local rescue. At first, we paid our monthly premium and never had to use the insurance, but that all changed a few months in when our dog seemed to start getting sick with everything- from mange, a massive hot spot, to the absolute worst being ibuprofen toxicity (my dog will eat anything when I'm not looking. Luckily, Healthypaws covered ALL of the costs associated with his "unluckiness" never making me make my decision about his medical care based solely on cost.
I cannot recommend Healthypaws enough to friends and family members who have a pet. Their service is prompt and reliable and I hate to think what the outcome for my dog could have been had I not had their services. THANK YOU Healhtypaws for ultimately saving my dog!

Excellent insurance for our dog
We've had this pet insurance for 4 years now and very pleased. We signed up for it when we adopted our rescue German Shepherd. It helped pay when we had her spayed. A few years ago she was diagnosed with incontinence and we can submit for her monthly meds. Now she was recently diagnosed with Megaesophagus. Sierra underwent X-rays and other tests before discovering her condition. The pet insurance was great and covered quite a bit of the vet bill. I even receive calls from ASPCA checking up on our special girl.
