Can't Thank You Enough!
I didn't get my claim sent in for my Wellness Plan reimbursement within the 90-day time frame, so I shouldn't have received a check...but I was happy to find out I was reimbursed after all. It came in the mail very quickly and I was so grateful since I'm unemployed and the funds were needed. I really appreciate the "human-touch" I get from Embrace for Gracie, my Jack Russell-Chihuahua baby. Definitely worth the monthly fee.

Reinbursement of claim was very quick
This was my first experience with Embrace and I have nothing but rave reviews to say. They processed my claim in a quickly and timely manner and I am very pleased!

Puppy Pyoderma chronic--by who's definition?
Pretty disappointed by our most recent interaction with Embrace. Our puppy was diagnosed with puppy pyoderma at their first Vet check, something the Vet noted to be very normal for any puppy, and now that it's gone we're getting slapped with a $100 payment claiming chronic condition ... chronic by their definition being noted prior to the end of the waiting period NOT the medical definition of lasting for 6 months or longer. Sorely disappointed, Embrace. Advice to new Embrace members--don't mention ANYTHING to your Vet because apparently it will only result in providing Embrace with an excuse to keep any addition incoming funds. Thanks for nothing?

Healthy Paws insured my cat Grady without qualification in 4/2012 when he was 11 years old. our first claim was made in 8/2012 when Grady was sadly diagnosed with a form of stomach cancer with a prognosis of about one year. We took him through a series of of about 14 vet visits and hospitalizations which due to our amazing doctors, stabilized his condition until last month. During this time my vets submitted claims to Healthy Paws which were immediately acknowledged and paid within 2-3 days without fail. They even picked up on an unpaid bill that I had not tracked. I always received letters of concern about Grady's health. Today, after his passing last week, we received a sympathy card with a note from all the staff. Their total recognition of our difficult times and ease of processing claims helped smooth out our last months with Grady.
How much more kind and caring can a company be? Healthy Paws sets out to be of service to pet owners in their time of greatest need and have gone beyond fulfilling their mission with personal attention and genuine concern for all their clients. I have only the highest praise for their business. It would be utopia if more businesses would follow their model.

Best pet insurer

The Best!
I switched from another highly rated pet insurance company to Healthy Paws about 15 months ago. I wasn't dissatisfied with the other company, but Healthy Paws got higher ratings on this site and the premium costs for identical coverage (90%) were less. My puppy is now a teenager, after a full year of getting into puppy health trouble - at a toxic salmon carcass, intestinal infection, developed a limp, had a transient out of limit blood test. Long story short, he got the right vet care each time with no worries for me about cost. All claims have been processed and approved within 48 hours of my vet submittal, with friendly and concise email notifications. They are the BEST! One tip I have for Healthy Paws customers - if your claim is taking a long time, it's your vet delaying the paperwork, not Healthy Paws!

VERY Pleased With Coverage
I got coverage for my dog Pogo for his 10th birthday. Almost 2 years later, busy Pogo had his first claim -- from a run-in with a squirrel. He had an emergency care visit and 2 visits to my vet -- and everything was covered. Now all 3 pets have coverage -- I would never go without pet insurance on any pet again. VERY happy!
Would I recommend Pets Best? I DO, frequently.

We narrowed our choice down to two carriers one of which was Trupanion.Their sales department was a delight to work with answering all of our questions. But over time we have learned that Sales and Marketing is one thing and Claims another. In the case of Trupanion I cannot say enough good thing about how our recent claim was handled. The Claim was promptly attended to, with all policy coverage and guidelines followed, and prompt payment made. I am happy to report we made a good decision in insuring with Trupanion.
