Problems over the years my dogs have been insured were very few.
Problems over the years my dogs have been insured were very few. Always resolved quickly and with one call. I also called to have my reimbursement checks deposited directly in my account saving me a ton of work.

Fast payout and great service
Our boxer had 2 tumors, one which was cancerous needed surgery to have them removed. It was a great relief to know that it would be covered by Embrace.

Excellent Claims Processsing
We never expected to use the insurance, but in the first year, had three claims related to our Boston's mast cell and mammary tumors. The Embrace claims form was simple and they only required the vet/doctor documentation. Within a few days we had a clear explanation of benefits, all coverage elements were explained and within the policy deductible/co-pays, and the reimbursement via electronic debit was extremely fast. To have three claims addressed in less than two weeks is outstanding. Great job; such a relief after the surgery and vet follow ups.

Healthy Paws Delivers with Integrity & Compassion
My 5 year old Black Lab, Jack, developed a tumor around one of his bottom canines, which turned out to be squamish cell carcinoma. In a 6-week period, Jack and I went from our normal daily routine of walks, playing fetch, rolling around and play wrestling, to a whirlwind of surgeries, recovery from them, follow-ups, and appointments with specialists including 2 oral surgeons and an oncologist. Jack had to undergo a total of 3 surgeries to successfully remove all of the cancer and patch up some scar tissue where stitches had broken. Jack's bottom jaw from behind the canines foward had to be removed. His pain was excruciating at times, and it was a difficult recovery. When all was said and done, his medical bills exceeded $7,000.
When Jack came to live with me, I knew I wanted to have insurance for him. I did a lot of research into the various pet insurance providers, and in the end I went with Healthy Paws, in large part because of reviews like this. It turns out to have been the correct choice.
Through out the entire 6-week journey from cancer to a well dog, every single claim I uploaded to Healthy Paws was paid promptly according to the policy I chose, which was 80% reimbursement with a $250 deductible. There was no quibbling about what would be paid and what wouldn't. From the very simple process of uploading a scan of each bill, to their emailed progress reports, to getting the check in the mail, the Healthy Paws claims process ran flawlessly. I was able to have money in the bank to cover the credit card charges for each surgery.
I've gotten numerous emails from support personnel at Healthy Paws asking about Jack and and expressing pleasure at his recovery. These emails went well beyond the normal scripted responses one normally gets from businesses. These were genuine messages from men and women who signed their emails with their names and the names of their own pets. They knew what we were going through, and how difficult it was for both of us. They cared.
Reviews were an important part of my research when I chose Healthy Paws. If this review helps someone else find their way to Healthy Paws, I will have done a good deed and paid it forward.

Great response
I purchased insurance for my puppy, Murphy, when I first got him. I never anticipated any issues with him because he was such a healthy guy. Then, one night I noticed that he was not feeling well and rushed him off to the emergency vets where I was told he had bloat and needed emergency surgery. Murphy did have the surgery and is now doing fine. The total bill was over $5000, most of which was covered by embrace. They were wonderful to deal with both at the time of the surgery and after. In the future, I will always use embrace to insure my pets. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing!

Efficient claim processing and great assistance
I did shop ins. co. before I signed with your company, and you do have the best rates. Even if you didn't, I would still be a loyal customer. In addition to your efficient claims processing and assistance with issues or concerns, I was totally moved me with the sympathy card your employees signed and the candle you lit in memory of my beloved Havoc. That was so thoughtful and kind, and I greatly appreciated your gesture. I totally was not expecting that, and it showed me that you truly care about your customers and we are not just a source of income for your company. Thank you so much.

My Embrace Pet Insurance Experience
Paul and I cannot adequately express our gratitude to the staff of Embrace Pet Insurance. We started a policy for our cat, Watson. Embrace is the only pet insurance plan we would recommend and here's why:1) Affordable pet insurance coverage that include Wellness Coverage that reimburses pet parents for wellness exams.
2) Easy and fast claim response (in most cases, less than 7 days)
3) Friendly and knowledgeable customer care representatives who REALLY care about you and your pet.
4) A user-friendly website that allows you to log in and see your claim information, payments, upload claim information and everything else regarding your policy.
And most of all, when we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize Watson due to an unexpected complication from an illness, Embrace Pet Insurance was there for us in ways that we could never contemplate. They're not just an insurance company; they're a "caring" company that took the time to send us condolence cards personally signed by the "embracers" of the customer care team. They felt our loss and our pain and when Watson's final claims were submitted to them for review, many of the claims were paid in less than a week and the check was in the mail. They conveyed to us their sorrow as well for the loss of our beloved Watson. Their gesture of condolence and sympathy meant alot to us as we were grieving and bereaving and we will never forget the kindness that was shown to us during a very difficult time. It is because of everything they did and continue to do that we highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance. I hope that when people read our review of this extraordinary company; they will choose Embrace Pet Insurance for their "pet baby". If the "gold standard" is viewed as an acceptable standard to many people, then we would say that Embtace Pet Insurance and their dedicated "embracers" would be defined as the "Platinum Standard". Although we are still grieving the loss of our beloved Watson, when we feel it is the right time to adopt a cat once again, we will definitely choose Embrace Pet Insurance as the "must have" insurance for our new baby.
