I left another insurance company for Nationwide Pet Insurance and I'm glad I did. I could not have foreseen the excessive medical expenses I would have for my dog in addition to having to make ends meet during a global pandemic. Nationwide has ensured that not only I don't have to give up my dog but that he can live a long happy and healthy life, and I can still take care of my family's other needs. The customer service has been friendly and helpful and the claim service quick and easy. I wouldn't choose any other company to help me protect the four-legged members of my family. Nationwide has been a dream! After using other pet insurance brands (am I allowed to name them here? I would happily but don't want to have my review denied!) who would cover only some treatments but not the actual visit to the vet (which makes 0 logical sense, you obviously have to go to the vet to get the diagnosis...) I was fed up. Friends who have two frenchies suggested Nationwide and I'm never going to another pet insurance provider! They make submitting claims so easy with the VitusVet app and their customer service reps were helpful and patient the only time I've had to call in with a question about a claim! We recently moved from the city and our little dude has had horrible allergies and run into other issues with his stomach, and thanks to Nationwide I felt completely comfortable going to the vet and having them run the tests they needed to in order to get him taken care of. if you love your pet, give them (and yourself) the gift of Nationwide pet insurance - you will be SO glad you did!

I have already recommended Nationwide Pet Insurance to all my friends that volunteer in pet rescue. They have been a wonderful help for this claim. My dog had a fast growing mass on his gums. The doctor removed it under anesthesia. Fortunately it is not cancer.

Upon submission of my claim to Nationwide Pet Insurance, I received an email from them acknowledging receipt of my claim. During the processing of the claim, I knew the stage of processing. After Nationwide's review, I received an advanced statement of payment of allowed costs, the amount I would be receiving, and payment was being processed. I received reimbursement quickly, I like being kept informed as to the stages of processing the claims. I was able to put my attention on my pet's needs knowing that I had made the right decision to take him to the Vet for needed care and treatment to return him to good health.
