Quick reimbursement
Our female labradoodle (2 yrs old) was diagnosed by our vet with her first uti. She was sent home with meds to take for 5 days. I submitted the claim on same day and reimbursement was made within about a week.

So thankful we have coverage
Coverage for Sheamus has been a God send. His illness has taken quite an emotional toll on our family. Then there is the struggle with the financial side of all of this. This illness has exhausted our savings. I know Nationwide is working as hard and as fast as possible to process our claims but he needs more care this week and we are out of money. I'm am so thankful for all Nationwide is doing. Everyone I've spoken with has been so helpful, concerned and professional.

It was comforting to know he could be seen without it becoming a financial burden
I signed up with VPI before Nationwide took over but have never regretted my decision. In the 6 years we've had Rook in our lives, we've only had to draw on the insurance in an emergency three times. The refunds we get for regular healthcare is nice, but it is those after hour calls when we think this family member might be in real trouble that our relationship with Nationwide is most appreciated. We are blessed that his 'emergencies' were minor and easily resolved by Dr. Fink and his staff. We are very grateful to Nationwide's pet coverage and would refer it to anyone.

I have a large vet bill due to surgery - I would appreciate getting more timely feedback
I would appreciate getting more timely feedback due to my large expense. Recently you have been waiting the full 30 days. Or payment gets sent to the payment center and they seem to hold it a while until I'm notified (I'm on the direct deposity)

Very user friendly
The claims process is very user friendly and I received a prompt response. It would be beneficial if the claim that was mailed listed what my deductible is and what my plan covers.

So happy to have insurance
Happy to have emergency and preventive care insurance. We have used both options for our now 1year old dog. Helps to keep expenses down and also spreads out cost of routine vaccines/etc. reimbursement process is online and straightforward.

Fast and efficient
A great coverage of Pixie’s incidental care needs not discounted by her regular wellness plan! X-rays are always expensive, but this took the sting out of it. And, review and payment was pretty fast and efficient.
