Puppy claims

This insurance has been very helpful!

Our beagle, Beau, has always been sore around his hind, near his tail, and he occasionally "hops" on one leg when he walks. We know he is more painful than usual when his tail doesn't come up - it just hangs - and when he limps and moves very slowly. Recently he has been going for laser treatment/acupuncture and it has helped him so much it's like a miracle! And even better, Nationwide has covered the cost so far, and we are very grateful.

We love this company!

We have been with Embrace Pet Insurance for almost 4 years. The claims are SO easy to submit, and the company is super easy to get in touch with. They have amazing customer service and always get back to us incredibly fast. We have been VERY pleased and will stay with Embrace for years to come.

Taking too long to pay

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with your service. However, it's taking almost 5-6 wks to be reimbursed.

GREAT

The customer service was excellent and claims were settled promptly.. My husband and I are on a fixed income which is why we purchased coverage in the event of an illness. We never want to make life and death decisions for our pets based on money, only on quality of life. We feel very fortunate that our coverage turned out to be excellent.

Quick reimbursement

Our female labradoodle (2 yrs old) was diagnosed by our vet with her first uti. She was sent home with meds to take for 5 days. I submitted the claim on same day and reimbursement was made within about a week.

So thankful we have coverage

Coverage for Sheamus has been a God send. His illness has taken quite an emotional toll on our family. Then there is the struggle with the financial side of all of this. This illness has exhausted our savings. I know Nationwide is working as hard and as fast as possible to process our claims but he needs more care this week and we are out of money. I'm am so thankful for all Nationwide is doing. Everyone I've spoken with has been so helpful, concerned and professional.

It was comforting to know he could be seen without it becoming a financial burden

I signed up with VPI before Nationwide took over but have never regretted my decision. In the 6 years we've had Rook in our lives, we've only had to draw on the insurance in an emergency three times. The refunds we get for regular healthcare is nice, but it is those after hour calls when we think this family member might be in real trouble that our relationship with Nationwide is most appreciated. We are blessed that his 'emergencies' were minor and easily resolved by Dr. Fink and his staff. We are very grateful to Nationwide's pet coverage and would refer it to anyone.
