Fast and painless
Our Dog Callie hurt her knee after jumping off the couch. THe folks at our Vet (Best Friends) took very good care of her and processed our Embrace claim for us. within a couple of weeks I received a confirmation from Embrace that they were reviewing our claim, followed up by a second e-mail confirming that the charges were covered. It even included a very easy to understand EOB for our records. THe check came within a few days after that. It doesn't get much easier than that. Thanks Embrace!

Embrace provides unique options & assurance
In researching pet insurance options, I read a recent article featuring Embrace and co-owner Laura Bennett in "Fresh Water Cleveland" an e-magazine. The article was about new, successful businesses in the Cleveland area. The article was very impressive and it was refreshing to know that there was a local company that in it's first few years of existence was growing rapidly and compared quite favorably to some of the more established pet insurance companies. The unique Embrace products ultimately convinced me that they were the better choice for us offering a Wellness program along with Accident and Illness and each with fair and flexible options.
We have been with Embrace for less than a month but already we are seeing prompt responses to our claims and have been reimbursed for all of our Wellness claims to date. We look forward to a long relationship and wish Embrace much success in the years to come.

Outstanding Prompt Claim Service!!
I just took out the pet insurance last Thursday and took my Yorkie to the vet the next day to get spayed and her dental done. I faxed the claim yesterday and Alli from claims has emailed me today to say that my check was on its way. I also have another Yorkie with another insurance company and they weren't nearly as efficient as this company.

Disappointed
I recently had a $5000 claim denied, the only one I had filed in over a year of coverage with multiple pets. The reason they gave for denying the claim was a stretch, at best, saying it was related to a single vet visit my dog had two years ago, taken in for a completely unrelated reason, that the vet could not pinpoint a diagnosis but basically said well, we'll treat her for this because of her breed. I even appealed the claim with a letter from the current vet who did her recent surgery, showing the two incidents weren't connected, and they still denied it. As a vet tech, I know it was not a pre existing condition, and am more than disappointed in their decision. I will say that they had an easy claims process, a quick response time, and pleasant customer service, but all that doesnt make insurance worth it if they wont cover my pets when they should. Coverage cancelled.

Embrace comes through again!
As has been the case throughout our nearly three-year relationship with Embrace, they've come through again with seamless, efficient, and friendly service when processing a claim. They also automatically applied a new credit to our premium for which I didn't realize we even qualified!

Fantastic
Our dog is having Boxer Colitis. The bills have been climbing and without Trupanion I do not know what we would do. We will have Trupanion for every dog we have from this point forward.

NOT HAPPY ABOUT COST!
I GOT HEALTHY PAWLS FOR MY JACK RUSSELL BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY SAID RAISE IN COST WOULD BE SMALL. I AM ON DISABILITY AND WATCH MY FUNDS CLOSE EACH MONTH. I GOT THE BILL TO DAY FOR $35.00 MORE FOR ONE YEAR.MY PUP HEALTHY AND I HAVE NEVER FILED A CLAIM. AT THIS RATE MY THE TIME SHE BECOMES A SENIOR PUP THE COST WOULD BE OVER $200.00 FOR HER AND YOU WOULD BE FORCED TO KEEP IT AS NO OTHER PET INSURANCE WOULD GIVE YOU INSURANCE AS SHE WOULD BE TO OLD. JACK RUSSELL CAN LIVE UP TO 16YEARS OLD. I SHOULD OF NEW BECAUSE THE OWNER USE TO BE WITH TRUPANION AND THEY DID THE SAME TRICK AND I DROPPED THEM FAST. THE PRICE IS CHEAP THE FIRST YEAR AND AFTER THAT ----LOOK OUT VERY MISLEADING!
