Excellent pet insurance!

Excellent pet insurance. Fast and no hassles. Easy to use on-line claims. Our over active German Shepherd has had several claims over the years and Healthy Paws has never failed to come through often finding other allowable charges I failed to claim.

I have never had a problem with reimbursement for services redered for my dog. Payment has always been prompt and on time.

I recommend everyone with a cat,dog or any type of pet to get insurance and I would choose Nationwide formerly VPI

I highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance. I've had the insurance for over 9 years I've gotten well over $14000 back between 3 dogs.

Easier & quicker than I expected

Usually, anything having to do with insurance is not considered "quick" or "easy" but this claim was an exception. I've had an accident & illness pet insurance policy on both of my now elderly Poms for 10+ years & never had to make a claim until recently. The oldest developed Cushings Disease but we had to go through multiple testing & other treatments to find that out (process of elimination). At the same time, the other one had to have several teeth extracted. I submitted all of the relevant bills from my vet as required & found it was an easy process. I chose to have the reimbursement direct deposited & it was in my account within a few weeks. I'd much rather my girls stay healthy so I don't need to submit a claim but when you find you have to it's a pleasant surprise when the process is quick & easy.

So glad we have insurance for our pets!

I highly recommend that every pet owner have medical insurance for their pets. Nationwide in particular is a good one to have.

more attention

I have two dogs with this insurance company. I feel as though I should be able to contact and discuss decisions being made about my account with a human being. I am not able to speak with the underwriting department. I understand that caution and time needs to be taken to review claims and requests for upgrades but attention to details or questions or some sort of discussion should be made when no diagnosis by the veterinarian has been made. However with brief reviews and certain line items creating a bell alert a suspicion should not be a reason for denial of upgrade. I am in hopes that this issue will be resolved and or discussed with me after a second review is done.
