Excellent Service!
It was a scary time for us when our 8 y/o GSD developed gastric problems that led to rapid weight loss and dehydration. While the emergency veterinary clinic was able to quickly treat him and turn around the problem, the treatment was costly. Trupanion was there for us from the beginning with fast responses to quotes sent by the vet team and immediate and concise status reports to me regarding my claim. I was able to concentrate on making decisions regarding his treatment without financial distractions. That's why we bought this insurance for both our dogs in the first place and I am pleased to say we were completely happy in with that aspect of the experience. Thanks Trupanion.

- experience working in veterinary field has led me to believe that most pets would benefit from being insured by a plan with unlimited or 5-figure claims limits, since most pets will experience an emergency or expensive acute/chronic illness at some point in their lives, and such costs often fall outside their owners' budgets, or make them hesitant and take longer to make the decision to take them to the vet

Insurance rate increase!
Claims experience is easy. Was not happy after submitting a claim that you almost doubled my monthly payment after having you for a number of years. I think thatâs really poor customer service.

You are the first company that I felt good about. Also, the cat pictured on your brochure ("It's hard being perfect") sold me. He/she had me sold in seconds which is not an easy task!
