Always puts my mind at ease
I absolutely love nationwide insurance. Our french bulldog is like a 2 year old and he gets into everything. Having the insurance has been a life saver! They process the claims and get us reimbursed so fast!

Thank you for covering Bailey through her glaucoma disease. It has been a blessing to be able to say yes when she needs an operation or to be able to afford her daily medication she needs to keep her site.
When people ask if I have insurance on her, I say yes. I recommend that they get Nationwide all the time.

Nationwide put my mind to rest when our puppy had to be hospitalized for two nights!
When our puppy had to be hospitalized for dehydration due to a stomach bug, followed by an infection, I was devastated for our dog Izzy but I was also losing sleep over the cost! Nationwide put my mind to rest.

The service rep I spoke to very helpful and friendly and she tried to do th3 best she could to help, but the problem was with the online form that would not allow me to submit. I’ll try again later or just use mail.

Denial of pre-approved claim
After calling ahead to make sure the test recommended by a veterinarian was one covered, Figo denied the claim. This would have been only for $98 because deductible is $200 and test is $298. This is with over a year and a half of paying the higher premium to have a lower deductible, and this was the first claim in this entire time of having two dogs on the plan. If they deny this small amount to a dedicated client, I dread what they would argue if it was more $ involved such as with an accident or disease. Looking at the rating they have, 7.8, I am not not surprised at this low satisfaction score. I can no longer recommend Figo to clients. I work in training and I volunteer with rescues and shelter clinics with cats and dogs, and I often and asked my experience or opinion on pet insurance. I'm in Chicago and I wanted to support this company being Chicago based. I am very disappointed and sad about how they have handled this and how they disregard the importance of dedication from customers and word of mouth regarding recommendations. I definitely have a bad feeling now for this company, and they have devalued my trust and they have lost it now.
