Thank goodness I got insurance for my puppy as soon as I brought him home! You just never know what life brings you, my puppy was seven months old when he got really sick from an inflamed lymph node. The bill added up so quickly in three days I had already accumulated over $8000, I was able to begin the claim as soon as he was admitted and the ease of communication with Lemonade was bar none and they were also able to communicate directly with The hospital my little guy was staying at. I could not be more grateful for them and their understanding during that hard time, the last thing I wanted to deal with was insurance but the ease made it so much easier! Please, please, please get insurance for your pet.

A new breed of insurance
All companies say they care but it’s not until you use Lemonade that you really see the difference. Lemonade is fast and simple to use. Lemonade takes the stress out of submitting a claim at a time when all you really care about is your pet. Once submitted you get to work with a person, with an actual name and a sense of humour just when you need it! Lemonade cares about what your pet means to you and goes the extra distance to keep you connected. Great company.

Great customer service and fabulous coverage for my dog. They really are concerned about my pet’s health. If something happens to your pet it’s comforting to know that Trupanion is there.

Camryn was great; I love Trupanion & all it has done for my furbabies!
Camryn was great; I love Trupanion & all it has done for my furbabies! However, I’m still awaiting a call from group benefits as I’m a current BluePearl employee & it’s nearly impossible to talk to someone who can help me with my account & my transition away from a group benefits program; I’ve called twice with no return phone call, and I’m leaving the company this week, a lapse in my insurance coverage would be detrimental to my dog & cats healthcare.

Recent claim experience
The experience was fine although under my deductible so I have no idea how the claim would be handled if you actually had to payout.
I might give you a higher rating for Recommend but can’t as your rates are too high and keep escalating yearly. If my pets were younger I would switch.
