Trupanion is not really interested in my pets. Despite calls explaining why Trupanion should not consider my pet's subluxation as pre-existing, ( 2 different vet's opinion negating that as well as the third vet's opinion who sort of changed her mind that her patella has to be re-examined when she is older, Trupanion was not willing to accept that. In addition, Luna's current problem that I saw , subluxation of her left rear patella laterally, 37 months after her policy became effective would not be covered but Trupanion wants to accept the opinion of the t who claimed she has subluxation of the right rear patella. Despite the fact that this is a different extremity that showed signs and symptoms of subluxation , Trupanion will not cover this extremity calling subluxation is usually bilateral. It is usually bilateral but seen in 45% of small breed. That, is why I withdraw my coverage with Trupanion..

Worst pet insurance I've EVER had - AVOID
We have had pet insurance for 15 years for our pets and have never experience the pathetic treatment we received from Healthy Paws, I am disgusted. Our 7yo Jack Russell somehow developed an abscess in her jaw, possibly from an injury we just don't know. As a result she underwent surgery to remove four teeth due to the abscess. Healthy Paws covered nothing. Most plans do not cover dental cleanings or prophylaxis, and I understand that, this was NOT the case. Had the dental problem came from an injury it is covered, however, I have no idea how this happened, it could very well have been an injury that caused the abscess. I finally found out of the denial almost a month after submission of claim. I would never ever recommend this company. Heading to Nationwide Pet Insurance as advised by my Vets staff.

Great Service and Professionalism
I have been using Embrace for my two dogs and have always received great service. Their turnaround time for coverage refunds is excellent. Always reach a professional and helpful individual on the other line when I call them. Would highly recommend them.

Efficient and kind treatment at a time of real stress
My dog was recently and quite suddenly diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The diagnostic charges alone were about $1,700. My claim was processed within a week and I only had to pay $270 of the total charge. One of the Embrace staff also immediately answered my inquiry about coverage for in-home hospice care. We have been Embrace members for over 7 years and have always had a great, caring experience.

Good price, easy to submit claims, easy to use app, took a while to receive money from the claim- but it did work out- overall

Very easy to file a claim and get reimbursed.
Filing the claim was very easy. I used the app and uploaded the picture of the vet bill. They emailed me back to let me know they received the claim. I could track the process of the claim and reimbursement on the app. They even called me to see how my dog was doing.

Any time we have questions, they are always answered by someone who sounds like they care about our pets.
Although we have never submitted a claim, when I explored the option of changing our deductible amount, the Customer Care representative was very helpful when discussing our options. She didn't try to sell us options that would be beneficial to them but instead took our needs into consideration. She even informed us that our premiums would go down due to our dog's weight. How refreshing! She also made me feel that she really cared about our pets.
