Overall experience is good with Nationwide, however, I would prefer a simpler method of online claim submission without having to download an app to my phone (which I did to facilitate the process). I did this, because I have had to make several claims for my one cat recently and I am trying to minimize the time between submission and refund. Perhaps there is a way to submit claims online, but I have not figured it out. And for someone like myself, who is fairly tech savvy not to figure it out, it definitely would not be intuitive for someone with little technical knowledge. Therefore, if online submission exists, it should be easier to navigate to.

We've had this insurance for about 2 years and have been very pleased overall. Very few pet insurance offers both wellness and illness/injury. We receive 90% back and have found their claim process very easy - just wish it was a 10 day turnaround time frame. Get it when you first get your pet to help with any incidents that may come up.

Very disappointed that Harley is not covered for her knee condition. She will not be covered till June. This is the second pet I have had insurance on with Nationwide and ran into some of the same problems with her. Trying to decide if Pet Insurance is really worth it.

I submit my claims via email and it's easy to attach a pre-filled claim form and also a receipt. Claims take a bit of time to process, but once they are, it's easy to transfer funds all online. Policy can be somewhat confusing as to what is covered/not covered, but they have guides online and people ready to help on the phone, which I have used before and had positive experiences with.

We feel well taken care of with Nationwide Pet Insurance! It's our first pet and this insurance has made everything so easy for us. We're able to give our pet the best with Nationwide.

Tinker and Bucky were rescued almost 9 years ago. The past 4 years have been many vet visits and medications. We have been VPI and Nationwide customers for many years prior to their arrival in our home. In fact their policies are coming up for renewal next month at a substantial increase. I understand the need is greater as they get older justifying the increase, however the MAX for the services does not increase. We seem to always "max" out for services! Nationwide does help to an extent, there is still food and medication that is not covered. We did have a few issues a little over a year ago with Tinker's diagnosis of an FCE and her Rehabilitation plan. Most of that has worked out but Nationwide does not cover rehab for an illness? Customer service is helpful when "renewing" your policy but seem annoyed when you call with questions about a statement of benefits question. In the end Nationwide has proven to be a reputable vet insurance company.

Prior to getting my French Bulldog, I did my research and knew there would be risks with this breed and possible health concerns. Although no amount of research could spare me from the emotional torment I have undergone with my frenchie’s illnesses, the one thing I’ve never had to worry about was the cost, thanks to Nationwide. Getting pet insurance is the best thing I could have ever done for my Walter, and for myself.

Pretty quick and simple

Thank you for your support during our stomach event with our dog Wilson. He received some IV fluids, antiemetic and new food that was easier on his stomach. Wilson is back to his energetic mischievous self.
