$35 Sign up fee uninformed

I am beyond grateful to have Ramona insured. That being said I was not made a aware of the sign up fee. Happy to pay it. I was only made aware once I signed up and received the email. It just puts a bad taste in my mouth. And frankly makes the company look bad. I say that because insurance companies get a bad reputation and it is expected by most. So to be made aware of this after I’ve registered and provided my banking information it’s deceptive. I know it’s done like that. Just see that “sign up fee” even though I did the signing up myself online, makes me feel I could get burned by Trupanion based on the fact I’ve enrolled her less than 48 hours ago and there is already a secret fee.

Phone reps were informed and helpful. I didn't have to wait long to speak to someone. Claims were processed quickly and payments were timely. I asked for a pre approval for my pet's medical procedure and I received an honest, accurate pre approval. From my experience, Trupanion meets expectations.
