What a great company!

We have used Healthy Paws for both of our 1 year old Golden Retrievers and have had nothing but professional and compassionate service from Healthy Paws. Their app is super user friendly and easy to use. Usually we receive coverage notifications within a few days, and a check follows! Recently, our boy Dakota had major emergency surgery for ingesting a toy which ended up getting stuck in his intestine. Healthy Paws did exactly what their service states - covered 80/20 and reimbursed us quickly. Couldn't imagine not having their coverage! They even followed up to ensure Dakota was healing well. Stand up company that does exactly what you'd expect - way to go Healthy Paws for making a tough and emotional situation much easier!

Great Plan

I have had Nationwide now for about 9 months. Once I met the deductible, Nationwide has been very response on reimbursements. So far I'm very happy. I get emails asking how my dog is doing after his vet visit. Great customer service.

Impressed with the Level of Customer Service

I signed up for pet insurance in November 2017. Before I decided to purchase my ASPCA policy, I did a lot of research on plans. What sold me on the insurance were two things- the benefits offered and the outstanding level of customer service. In speaking to the lady who signed me up, it was very apparent that she knew her product, was very helpful and kind on the phone and was great to talk to - I could tell that she really liked her job and enjoyed helping prospective customers select the best option for their pets. I work for a software company and always notice when customer service goes above/beyond - sadly, I can count the number of times on one hand when I had a really positive experience, and that tells me that many companies out there are still getting the customer service thing wrong. I received a "just checking in" call from Tom yesterday asking me how my pet was doing, if I had any questions about anything, and how the process went for my first claim. It just solidified the good experience I had when I signed up, and made me feel like ASPCA actually cares about my pet and me. This is a case study of how to do it right for other companies who don't know the true meaning and importance of customer service.

I Love love love this company!

I've had other pet insurance companies in the past who claimed to have great coverage. That was never the case. Embrace is really what they say they are... clear cut insurance with no hidden sublimits or fine print (and believe me I looked for it!). I submitted a claim recently that my prior insurance company would've cut and denied parts of. Embrace accepted the claim, and paid it minus my deductible and copay. Simple as that. For me, that's A HUGE promise for them to keep and they did!! Highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Nationwide Pet insurance give you comfort knowing you can have your pet seen by a Veterinarian no matter what state you are in.

We were traveling out of state this Christmas season. Izzy was showing signs of an ear infection. By having Nationwide Pet insurance the clinic got her in that day.

Need wellness coverage

The lack of wellness coverage and the fact that office calls are not covered even after the deductible is met is why I would hesitate to recommend.

Always able to get the care he needs.

Augie my Golden Retriever, has always been susceptible to getting growths on his body and since he had a mast cell tumor when he was young, I try to always have him evaluated and suspicious growths removed. He also has allergies that showed up when he was five. Thanks to Nationwide Insurance, I can always make sure he is taken care of and treatment is done quickly. He is now doing well, even though he had a bad reaction to sutures and needed additional treatment and care.
