Absolutely no complaints with healthy paws. Our pooch just had a tumor removed and we only had to pay $180 for the surgery. Her policy is quite clear as to what is covered - we pay for exams and 10% of anything else once the deductible is met. We've never had an issue and get paid within a week of a claim. I just recommended healthpaws to a coworker who had to start a gofundme to pay for her dog's recent surgery. It is nice never to have to worry ourselves.

I did a tremendous amount of research on pet insurance before deciding on Embrace. I have not been disappointed with my choice. I didn't have insurance with my previous dogs and it cost me a small fortune when cancer and spinal problems struck. I learned my lesson with my current dog. Embrace has covered everything from nasal surgery (I have a brachycephalic breed) to dermatological conditions to emergency vet visits. They are very upfront about what they will and will not cover. As long as that is understood, there isn't an issue with getting a claim approved. And starting a claim is extremely easy, which I also appreciate. I have told many people about Embrace and will continue to do so.

I feel the monthly premiums are way high for what they cover . It feels like a rip off. I am probably going to research other insurers. The explanation given for high monthly premiums didn’t make any sense.

I just signed up. The only reason I even gave a score is because the person helping me on chat was polite and helpful. I have no other experience with Trupanion.
