This Was The Quickest Claim An…

This was the quickest claim and payment I have received. I have been working with Pets Best for a few years now and the worst part was always the delay in getting paid. I hope this change sticks

Thank goodness for Healthy Paws!

I signed up for Healthy Paws pet insurance last summer when I adopted a puppy from my local Humane Society. I've had many dogs in my lifetime, but had never purchased pet insurance. I guess I always figured that the investment wouldn't ever really come back to me and that it might be a huge hassle needing to deal with claims, and the like. However, the last dog I had ended up costing me thousands after some unfortunate run-ins with wildlife, and his injuries continued to plague him (and us financially) until he passed several years and tens of thousands of dollars later. So, when we got our newest addition, we knew that we wanted to try out an insurance program.Of course, within the first year, she has had a terribly split toenail that needed immediate medical attention as well as a large mass that needed to be removed from her back leg, requiring surgery. Normally, this would have caused some serious emotional and financial stress. But, I am thrilled to share that Healthy Paws made the claim and reimbursement so incredibly easy that I could focus all of my energy on my sweet puppy. I literally just snapped a photo of the vet bill, sent it to the company through their app on my phone, and was quickly approved and sent a check. My experience in both instances (i.e., split toenail and surgery), were handled in such an easy, streamlined and efficient manner that I will be a lifetime customer of this company and sing their praises wherever possible. Oh! And they emailed me after the claim cleared just to see how my dog was recovering!!! It's like they actually care! If you are considering pet insurance, I give this company my highest recommendation. I also highly recommend insurance for your pet in general. I have had an absolutely flawless experience with this company so far, and I can't think of many businesses that I can say that about.

I'm so glad I have Pets Plus Us insurance.

I picked up two kittens (Flip and Flop)from a rescue shelter and luckily they came with a free trail of pet insurance. One of the kittens(Flop)is that kitten that will be my forever problem cat. Within a day of being home his eye started to puss and swell and need attention. After 6 weeks of Vet visits and two surgeries on his one eye, he can partially see out of it and he is doing well. It cost over $2500 ans Pets Plus US covered the 80% no hassles. The Vet sent all the paperwork in and within 10 days the payment was in my bank account. Move forward one year same kitten (FLOP)has somehow broken both his back legs. (indoor cat and a growth plate problem?? Who knew) He needed multiple x-rays Vet visit and Pain meds. It took over 3 weeks to see the Specialist who completed a bilateral hip joint removal. He is almost back to himself minus the hair not fully regrown.(he looks like he's not wearing any pants ... really funny) Pets Plus Us fully covered %80 of all the expenses no question no hassles, the vet sent all the bills in a I had full payment within 10 days the cost was up over $3000 this time. It was wonderful how fast and easy it was to claim. I think this is the best insurance I have. To top it off they have called to see how the FLOP is doing!!

Peace of mind at a great price!

I love Embrace! The policy I have for my Roxy is comprehensive, easy-to-understand, and gives me so much peace of mind. Filing a claim is simple and my checks come within a week after filing. Customer service is helpful, knowledgeable and quick to respond. I've used the benefits a lot already in just one year and confidently say my monthly premium is money well spent.

Embrace...Unfair Policies Regarding Anything Small

Embrace has covered the more expensive emergency items which was nice BUT they have unfair policies regarding smaller claims. My dog had diarrhea before I started my policy. So they say that is a pre-existing condition and I would have to wait 12 months before they will cover any diarrhea issues. WELL...my dog made it 10.5 months with no diarrhea and recently had a bad case so I took her in. Embrace denied the claim even though she was only about a month and a week or two away from being cleared. Now I have to wait another 12 MONTHS for them to cover diarrhea. I don't know about you and your dogs but dogs get diarrhea from time to time more depending on many factors. I take very good care of my two yr. old dog. But I also socialize her and she can catch things from other dogs. Personally, I think humans get diarrhea more than once a year. How can they expect a dog to not get diarrhea for 12 months?! Seems unfair and a loop hole so they don't have to cover it.
