Better than expected

*foreign body surgery and several day hospital stay* I was worried after reading reviews, never thinking I'd have to file a claim, I went with the most affordable- which was Pets Best. I'm convinced people only post when their experiences are negative. I love that it could all be uploaded online, have multiple options to have payment go to the bank or Care Credit, and most importantly, got paid. Thank you! I've already referred others. Although I hope to never use you again, I'm glad you're here if we have to!

Pets Best at $600 a Year is a Monumental Waste of Money

Don't waste your money here on monthly debits. They make an excuse to not reimburse every single time. I have been with this insurance company a couple years now and have never been reimbursed for anything. It's highly laughable at this point to go through the motions of uploading the paid invoice to the vet, then sit and wait for an apology email as to why it's taking so long, then sometime later, a denial of coverage. Time and money wasted.

Highly Recommend Hartville Pet Insurance

I just wanted to take a moment to share how amazing our experience with Hartville has been. Our dog developed several medical issues as he aged and they always had our reimbursements returned to us within 5-10 days, directly to my bank account. It was always easy to update our policy for our needs. When our dog unexpectedly passed away after a short stay at an animal hospital, they were incredible to work with. The bill was massive, we were grieving the loss of our dog and Hartville Pet Insurance took care of everything after we submitted the claim (getting records from the animal hospital, etc.) and we were reimbursed every dollar that our planned covered. They also called me to send their condolences for our loss and check to see how our other dog was doing after this loss, as we have two dogs on our account with them. It was so thoughtful in a time that was very difficult for our family. We will be staying loyal customers!

Best Best is quick and easy to understand and gives peace of mind.

Our poor kitten had a sudden and scary abscess show up in her leg and we had to rush her to the emergency vet. We felt relieved to have the insurance as these visits can be quite costly. Once we were home again with our cat, we were able to easily submit the claim via the app and I just periodically checked the claim status and was reimbursed not long after submitting. Our kitty is feeling better and we were able to get reimbursed, it was a good experience overall.

First Claim Made Easy

I recently switched from another insurance company that I had been with since my dog was a baby due to cost of premiums. My dog had no previous diagnosed disease beyond a cough when he was 4 months old. Our first claim was for a cough and decreased recovery rate after exercise. I was concerned there would be an issue with the claim, but Pets Best processed it within 5 weeks, including the review of the medical records I had sent them. Very happy with the experience!

Best insurance for your pet- by far!

We have a long haired dachshund whom we had for 6 years before he got ivdd. He's had 4 surgeries for different discs. Luckily, we purchased Healthy Paws Insurance for him when we got him.. We bought Healthy Paws the day we got him, not knowing how valuable it would be! A friend recommended them to us. We thank them every time we see them.! It was without a doubt one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. It is very easy to file a claim. They process that claim within a week usually. The best purchase you can make because unlike many pet insurance places there is NO limit to your amount of claims! I’m not writing this simply because Healthy Paws Asked if I would. We tell every one who has a pet that it is one of the best decisions you’ll ever make! Your pet deserves it, I promise!

Always dependable

As usual, Pets Best, reimbursed my claim in a timely manner. I was kept informed through out the process. I have one very healthy Cavalier and one not so healthy Cavalier. This particular claim required more information from UT Animal Hospital and i still received my reimbursement in a timely manner. I have this insurance for 3 yrs for 2 pets and I am extremely pleased with Pets Best.

Healthy Choice for your dog

Dear London, All I can say is WOW! Your team is incredible. Not only have you provided her with excellent coverage, but the care you've shown in following up on her prognosis is truly appreciated. Cheap but very slow process times

Very slow to process claims. My first claim they denied because they didn’t have my personal information which was on my paperwork. My second claim they said my dog wasn’t on the account even though he’s the only animal I have on my account. I’ve now been waiting almost 20 days for them to process my latest claim which I expect to still be processed given that I canceled my account today and that should have been processed weeks ago.
