Koda, an 8 year-old Miniature Schnauzer, has been insured by ASPCA since she was a puppy. But it was not ever needed much until last month: After being sick for a few days, she was rushed to the Emergency Vets during the early morning hours. Exploratory surgery revealed an acorn cap in her small intestines that had blocked her digestive system. Having ASPCA insurance kept me from worry about the cost of her "acorn experience."
