Scared little girl
Sasha had to be boarded because we were going out of state, staying in a motel suite. VHA reported she was having bloody diarrhea. She had this the last time she was boarded. They gave her an antibiotic and an antidiarrheal medicine. VHA sent reports to us twice a day, plus pictures and videos. We could tell when Sasha was getting better because her tail was up. We do not take Sasha anywhere else. Embrace pet insurance promptly reimburses us for covered expenses. VHA put Sasha in ICU because it is quieter (most of the time) and calming to her. VHA ICU is staffed 24 hours a day. Boarding is only staffed 7 am to 6 pm. Embrace also reimburses us for her (special diet) food and medicines. We get our money's worth, (unfortunately) with Embrace. All of our pets i.e. family have had Embrace.

Glad I have Trupanion!!!
As part of the checkout process the Trupanion info was included. I, then, immediately knew my portion to pay. Can't beat that!! Once home, about 1.5 hrs later, I received an email from Trupanion confirming the payment. Fabulous service. Many Schnapps also sends her thanks.

Nationwide is not on your side
Has been with Nationwide since my dog was a puppy. Have been paying $55 a month. Year one my puppy had a problem with her leg (ligament). Was told after the fact it was not covered first year. Now, that my dog is 5, tried to file a claim for well care and vaccinations ( i had a plan that is supposed to cover sick and wellness) c just to find out my plan had expired. When i called they told me that i have not paid for over a year although they had my current credit card on file and i was enrolled in automatic payments. They told me then my policy could not be reactivated and i had to re-apply. They requested my dog’s medical records in order to issue new policy, which i provided because i just had an annual checkup which I didn’t get reimbursed for. A week later got an email saying my dog was not eligible for coverage because her ALT was elevated ( liver enzymes), which my doctor told me we need not work about unless they are constantly elevated or keep going up. Nationwide is not on your side. I was so fed up with this, applied for another insurance and was immediately accepted for a lot less.

Thank you Healthy Paws 🐾
My dog was very sick and her treatment started with being admitted through the ER in the middle of the night. While I did not know what was ahead of us, I was positive that I wanted the vet to do everything they could to save her life. What I also did not know, is that she was far sicker than I was aware. I was surely worried about my dogs well being and the medical costs associated with her treatment. Healthy Paws was right there at the plate to assist empathetically with reimbursement of my dogs medical costs. Admittedly, I was not prepared for this veterinary expense, I honestly have no idea what I would have done without Healthy Paws caring attitude and expedient response. Excellent Insurance Coverage

Stress-Free
This is the first time we’ve ever used pet insurance and it was a really great experience. On a day when we were worried about our dog and the kids were a handful because of their worries, Trupanion took the stress off so that we didn’t have to concern ourselves with the cost involved or a hassle to get insurance to pay their part. The hospital received approval from Trupanion in minutes and we only paid our co-pay. It was great.

Best Pet insurance Metlife
