Insurance saved my cat’s life
My cat developed a serious illness. Having health insurance meant her doctors and I could make decisions about her health without having to factor in finances. My decision was solely based on what was best for my pet. The vets were able to treat Annabelle and I’m happy to say She is alive and very happy. I’m so relieved to have pet insurance

Excellent service
We have had the insurance for 6 years and made our first claims just recently when our Lab became sick. The process was very easy and payment was prompt.

VPI caring for my pet is AWESOME!!!!!
VPI Outstanding insurance to have!!!!. VPI care a great deal about your pet from the time they receive your claim, to the reimbursement they give back, and then contacting the owners to make sure your pet is ok. They also send payment in a timely manner. I could not ask for a better insurance.

Hassle-free claims
I’ve been a customer since 2011. I’ve seen positive changes since VPI became Nationwide Pet Insurance. Now I have the Whole Pet with Wellness Plan for both of my cats. I love that I can submit claims via the VitusVet app, with a pic of vet bills. Most importantly, this plan allows me to focus on my pets’ wellness when considering making appointments for needed procedures, rather than delaying because of pocketbook considerations. Well treated after surgery
Embrace followed me with series of treatments, then cat-scans and finally surgery on Zeus to remove some broken bone in his left elbow. While the deductible is quite significant, they never questioned and promptly treated reimbursements for what became an expensive procedure..

The form was easy to fill out and upload what I needed to.
The form was easy to fill out and upload what I needed to. Trupanion picked through my normal vet receipt for the portion of the visit that was covered (just the diagnostics). The only problem was that I had trouble getting the website to work in Chrome, so maybe check out whats up with that.

My claim was processed immediately and I received my reimbursement check within a few days. Thus far my claims for my pups issues have been honored. I highly recommend this company.
