Trupanion has been extremely helpful with the claims process. very pleased with the turn-around time to reimburse for out-of-pocket expenses. As stressful as it is when your pet is hurt and need care the CSR at Trupanion assures you that they will do their best to make it a seamless process and they even extend well wishes to your pet.

Vet Visit
Bella is a healthy girl who went to the vet for a check up. We decided it was time to check out her teeth and clean them, and check out a tiny lump on her head. The lump was a benign lump of hair follicles, and her teeth are now in great shape. Insurance paid for the majority of the treatment. I am so glad I got insurance for Bella!

Rates will rise
Beware, your rates will increase. After 1 year (with a 1y/o dog and a 4y/o cat) Embrace increased my premiums by 31%. Why, because the actuarial studies indicated a rate increase was needed for my state...etc. I have never filed a claim either. And I was told that the rates would continue to increase, definitely by the time the pets turned 5y/o and continue to rise. This rate increase practice was NOT transparent. I will put money in a savings account instead. Pet insurance with this company is not worth it.

You saved my Cookie, I couldn’t have afforded the almost 15k Vet bill for 2 TLPO surgeries back to back. Before I started with Trupanion, I researched every Pet Insurance and found Trupanion to be the best. The process of submitting claims online and the processing of payment saved me hours of time that I devoted to her care. I will never be without Trupanion for my 3 Bichons and tell everyone I know!
