We have just joined with our new puppy but so far I am very pleased by the responsiveness of Pets Best both with customer service on the phone and email communication.

Sending in the vet claims was incredibly easy. The explanation when claims were returned either paid or not was clear. Thank goodness for this insurance. I was able to get my pet the care he needed without blinking an eye about cost. My only criticism is that the claim process can sometimes take weeks which is a little slow when you’ve already fronted the cash.

I wasn't sure whether to get pet insurance when we brought home a new kitten. I was a bit skeptical. I decided to purchase pet insurance through healthy paws. I was an easy online experience. I submitted a few minor vet invoices and the healthy paws website was super easy to drag and drop everything. Response time was extremely quick and with very detailed explanations. Our kitten developed some respiratory problems and after some extensive exams, the bill was quite large. I knew this would be the test for healthy paws. I submitted everything and within 48 hours I had a decision and healthy paws paid in accordance with the policy. I received the check within 48 hours. The best part......healthy paws followed up with an email asking how the kitten was doing. It was very personal and heartfelt. Safe to say I will have healthy paws as long as I have a pet! Way to go healthy paws! You guys rock.

A wonderful insurance company! Submitting claims is easy and reimbursement time is fast. I speak very highly of Nationwide for pets and refer them to everyone.

Claims can be very slow to process. I received 2 checks the same day but visits were 2 weeks apart.

My dog Cole recently passed. I was insured for almost 10 years with this company. I can't remember the last time I received such care. Everyone was always kind, caring and concerned and at the end, very sympathetic for my loss. I wish I could thank each person I've dealt with over the years personally. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who loves their pet and wants the best care. Thank you for all you have done for Cole and I.

We have coverage for two pets and recently had one pet diagnosed with a disease that she will need ongoing testing in prescriptions for. I am pleasantly surprised that Pets Best did not find a loophole as we thought they might to get out of paying us but rather after uploading our claim they paid within seven days! We were 90% reimbursed as my plan specifies. I am happy to say that I would recommend them highly to any pet owners!

This company was fine when i joined 7 years ago. Claims were processed quickly and i was happy with coverage. My monthly payment was increased from $112/month per pet to $180/month simply because my shih tzus are turning 12 this year. Many claims have not been covered and those that are take 30+ days. It would be illegal to price gauge humans for aging. They know they have you over a barrel bc no other company will cover a pre existing condition but i refuse to be extorted.

Our dog recently suffered seizures and was diagnosed with an idiopathic epilepsy and will require ongoing medication and testing for at least the next few years. I was very concerned after two nights in the hospital and the cost of the tests that somehow you would find a loophole to not pay the claim. I was pleasantly surprised to find that you honored the 90% coverage that my plan says that I have! I uploaded a PDF of the vet bill that we paid and within seven days it was in my bank account! It was an amazingly easy process! So happy I chose this company to cover our dogs!

Even though my claims weren’t absurd nationwide covered my pets medical bills and gave me peace of mind knowing I only had to pay my deductible.
