I've had nothing but positive experiences as a client of yours. I also work at a clinic and have for over 10 years, and I just love the stories I hear and even dealing with your company from a clinic's point of view is so easy and always positive.

Very good customer service overall.
Very good customer service overall. Coverage has also been very good. What has been a constant struggle for me started when I originally contacted Trupanion and set up an account for both of my dogs. (I've been with Trupanion for several years now.) The young male rep who set up the account verbally pushed me into signing up for a $500.00 deductible for my senior dog, despite the fact that I repeatedly told him I wanted a lower deductible--which, at $250--I set up with my younger dog. He DID NOT tell me that I would not be allowed to lower the $500 deductible--EVER! I very soon contacted Trupanion to lower the $500 deductible. The rep refused, saying I was one day late with my request. Then, the rep told me I could make the change when renewing the policy for the next year. So, when renewing the policy for the second year, I gleefully requested a lower deductible for my senior dog. Only to be informed that I could NEVER change the deductible. This $500 deductible has resulted in real hardship for my dog and I. Since then, I attempted to rectify this situation with a supervisor more than once. The reps told me the supervisor would contact me--but that never happened! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT PRESSURE SENIORS ON SOCIAL SECURITY OR OTHER FIXED INCOME TO TAKE OUT POLICIES WITH HIGH DEDUCTIBLES!!!! This is something I totally regret. Now, as my senior dog has pre-existing conditions, I cannot change to a different carrier.
If this were otherwise, I'd give Trupanion a higher rating.
