Better no insurance than to go with PETS PLUS US
Sounds great, but when you really need them, they find some exclusionary clause, and then you're left with the vet bills anyways; plus the frustration and disappointment of your having gotten involved with PPU in the first place!.
If you really want or need pet insurance, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
And if you're a Costco member, done't be fooled into thinking you're getting a good deal through Costco, in fact you can usually find better pricing through other channels.
Surprised Costco associates its brand with this provider.

Great insurance
We’ve had MetLife for my dog since we adopted him. It’s a great insurance company. Unfortunately we’ve had to use it a few times; and man, am I thankful we have it. Submitting a claim is quick and easy. Customer service is great. Receiving reimbursement is quick. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Happy customer
I’ve had Healthy Paws for three different cats and two have needed to use the insurance at some point in time. The latest health scare would have cost us thousands, but we submitted our claims and within a week it was approved and the check was in the mail! They make it so easy, with no stipulations (much easier than human insurance) and I’m so grateful to have them. They even follow up asking about how my kitty is doing. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend Pets Best!
Direct deposit is super convenient. I've never had a problem with claim processing. They set me expectation for processing delays then paid me 48 hours later. I like the flexibility of coverage and deductible to help manage monthly premium costs. And I love that my deductible applies to the full calendar year rather than individuals incidents! I know there are lots of choices for pet insurance, but we came to Pets Best several years ago after a less satisfactory experience with another company, and I've never had a single regret. We've also taken advantage of the 24/7 televet service a few times and found it very helpful. I think it's great that Pets Best includes that service at no additional cost. I highly recommend Pets Best!

If I could give you a 0 or no stars at all I would!
I waited two hours to get a quote from you and the vet and when I received it, it showed the majority of it "not covered" What the hell am I paying you almost $100 every single month and when I need coverage for my pet you covered $49 out $300 bill!!!! $49 coverage??? Is that fair to you fucking idiots that don't give a crap on anything other than your own fucking pockets.
What kind of fucking scammers are you?
You are not helping pets and pet families! You are helping your own fucking pockets!!
Shame on you and all your stupid services. People are completely crazy to waste their money on you garbages!

Mommy to 4 Persian cats!
I have 4 Persian cats insured with Healthy Paws. They are the best pet insurance company around with a great app that is very easy to use to submit a claim or you can go online. You get an immediate response claim received and within 24 hours a claim number and payment is very prompt normally within 7 days. They do not ask for any vet charts and look for reasons not to pay. And the couple of times I have had to call - their customer service is super knowledgeable and very nice and helpful. They have helped me tremendously with my vet costs so I can give my Persians the care they deserve. A big FIVE STAR KUDO to them!

So Glad I had This!!!
My dog was 6 when I decided to get insurance. He has been healthy so far but heard some stories of issues others had from their dogs at the dog park so figured rather be safe than sorry. I only was paid in 3 months when Paulie torn his ACL on leash going after a squirrel, something he has done since he was 10 weeks old.The total cost from my vet was $4200.00.It took a few weeks to get approved, being the 1st claim and all. Had to get a full year of history to make sure it wasn't pre-exsiting condition ( I totally understood).When the claim was approved it was Zelled to my account within 5 mins!!!! i got reimbursed $3100.00. I was so happy. I have been sharing this story with everyone. No one should have to decide on putting their dog down because of money. This helps you decide faster. Thank you Metlife.
