I have owned 4 dogs and have dealt with multiple pet insurance companies. Trupanion is hands down the best. I always know upfront what we can expect back for a claim and everything is straight forward. Not having a cap placed on a health condition has been a godsend!

I had VPI insurance for years, and was satisfied with them. Since Nationwide has taken over, things have gotten even better! The customer service, ease of use of the website and claims process, the transparency in coverage, and the follow up is absolutely incredible. We just had an expensive surgery for our dog, and knowing we had coverage was such a blessing. We know friends who have had to make difficult financial decisions when these things come up about their pets, and we never even had to worry about that. It allowed us to just focus on doing the best thing for our pet, and taking care of him. My vet told us we were lucky to have Nationwide, and that it’s the best insurance he’s seen for pets. I posted on FB about the wonderful experience we had, and since then a friend reached out to ask some questions and ultimately sign her puppy up with Nationwide! Thank you!

I have always had good experiences with Trupanion - from the very beginning until now. A very good feeling that my dog (my baby) will be taken care of by an excellent company. Everything is explained and is taken care of in a timely manner, too.

My vet files all claims and I just sit back and cash the check. This pet insurance pays for itself. Pet owners are crazy not to have Trupanion Insurance.

I find claims easy to submit from my phone using the Vet app. I also like that money is deposited into my bank acct. the only problem I have is that neutering under 1 year was not covered for my dog. I am a responsible pet lover of a non show quality, companion dog. I am going to have my pet neutore....it is the right thing to do. Nationwide you should cover neutering, it is the right thing to do. I purchased the plan with the most coverage I could get and neutering is not covered under 1 year.
