Adopted my poodle mix at around age 3. Got Figo coverage (Ultimate Plan, 200 deducible, 90% coverage, no lifetime max, no wellness coverage) for $400. Never made a single claim and my dog never had a single health issue. After 1 year, when he turned 4, the first renewal, they raised my rate to $660!!!!!! I called and complained, they said "we had to correct our rates to bring them in line with competitors". Out of curiosity, I went online and got a quote for the same coverage and it was $500. Clearly Figo does not at all care current customers and just suckers you in with good intro rates then jacks up their prices. It was a shame because I really was into their tech forward business model.

Having used VPI insurance years ago I had less than great hopes for WellCare service coverage. To date I have received payments for each claim and I’ve been happy with the benefits. I combined WellCare with full care coverage for my pet.

I have had no problems with any bill I have submitted. Health care for our pets is almost as expensive as that of people. Your company provides a valid opportunity for people to be able to own pets. Pets grow old just like people. I got Paco when he was 3 mo old and have had him insured since then; he is not 12 years old. I have only had to use his medical in the last year and a half. It has been good knowing that when he needs care, I don't have to sell my house to keep him in good health. If a person is going to own a pet, they need pet insurance. Your company has been great so far.

This is the most amazing, compassionate, efficient, and generous company you will ever find. The people are knowledgeable and courteous. They covered expensive heart surgery only weeks after we enrolled our new rescue dog. They sent a condolence card for my previous pet who died and called to check on us. Their process for filing claims is easy (on line) and fast. This is the ideal pet insurance company for everyone!!
