Because usually Trupanion is fantastic! One issue is that they “change the rules” once you’re a member. For example, the inability to change deductibles like we used to.

Awesome Company!
I have insured my dogs with Healthy Paws since they were puppies, so for over 5 years now. They are great at processing claims in a timely manner, most simple claims are done within 24 hours!! One of my dogs recently had to undergo surgery and even that extensive claim was processed within a few days. And they covered absolutely everything needed to do the surgery plus what was needed make my dog as comfortable as possible. About a week after the surgery I received an email from Healthy Paws Customer Service asking how my dog was doing after her surgery. I thought that was such a nice gesture!! I'm a very happy customer!
