Caring and Excellent Coverage
A letter to Healthy Paws Customer Care when they had sent an email out to me asking how Princess, our 9 lb MaltiPoo was doing after her surgery
Thank you for caring about and checking on our Princess. She is recovering well from the surgeries. The sutures were removed this week. It has been and continues to be an intensive recovery for her and us because of the ulcer on her remaining eye. Under a great ophthalmologist care, we have agreed as her parents, to do our very best to do what is needed to heal the ulcer that is on her remaining eye. To accomplish this we are providing eyedrops, anabiotic, anti-inflammatory, and several others all working toward healing her cornea. We are on régime that provides those eyedrops every two, four and eight hours respective to the particular medication. So my husband and I are staying up 24-7 to be sure she gets everything possible to save the eyesight and the eye. Our hearts break to see our little 2 1/2 year old have to go through all this, but she has been a little trooper to put up living in a hood and with being awakened for her medications.
Thank for being so supportive to us, so that we can provide Princess with every chance to save her remaining eye. Without your financial reimbursements, we would not have been able to afford this care for her. My husband and I are retired, so on a fixed income. We can’t thank you enough for your assistance and that you are very timely in processing these claims. We can see why you are the #1 Pet insurance company.

Nationwide pet insurance has been worth every penny!
Having pet insurance has enabled me to easily keep up with wellness requirements such as shots and teeth cleaning. Moreover, having insurance has reduced the economic burden associated with emergencies. Insurance claims, cover veterinary visits, etc
I pay 100/ month they say they cover 90% veterinary visits and etc. i have a 250 deductible with makes no sense when you go to the vet. I keep paying and seeing nothing back.
Thats only gonna work when my dog its old and bills are gonna eventually get expenssive. So for 8 years i pay 100\month for them to do nothing for me Since i still pay vet bills.
Very disappointed. Smart people learn by their mistakes. Dont make same mistake as me.
I will never go back to nationwide. They also very pick when they have to pay you. My dog had a leg insujry and they gave me the hardest time to pay me back 90% pf my 4367.59. Took a lot a calls and couple consulting with my lawyer before i got the payment.
This is very sad when you have the money and you are willing to have a fair treatment by your puppy health insurance.

Peace of mind knowing my family member is covered, in the event of illness or injury.

No Hassle Claim Payment
Pets Best has seen us through multiple health issues with our 2 Maltese - 1 developed a heart condition at age 11 and lived to age 14 - 1/2 and the other developed cancer at age 11 and is still alive today at age 15!! I just cancelled our policy since we are focusing on her comfort care now rather than any more major medical treatments but HIGHLY recommend Pets Best to anyone with a furry child!
