You guys are great!
Xena just turned a year old when she had sudden episode of severe vomiting and then diarrhea. We had just gotten our pet insurance two months previously and this was our first claim.
We had both a vet appointment followed in a couple of days by an emergency vet clinic appointment. I was amazed at the ease of filing a claim and even more amazed and happy that the claim was reimbursed in less than a week!

This is why we insure!
A young healthy hound-mix might not look like she needs coverage, but a single 'dietary indiscretion' resulted in a holiday weekend in hospital plus several weeks' convalescence -- and a four-digit vet bill! The hospital kindly submitted my claim for me, and Nationwide remitted all but our modest deductible, direct-deposit to my bank even before my credit card statement arrived. This is why we insure! Having Pet Insurance is having peace of mind
Stella was limping after going on a hike. We went to the vet and they confirmed she tore her meniscus tendon. So we will need surgery to fix her. The cost of the x-rays and the visit were fully covered. And after looking at the policy, most of the surgery will be as well. Talk about peace of mind. I can be sure she won't be in pain for a long period of time waiting for me to get the cash to pay for everything out of pocket.

Excellence in action
There is not a whole lot I can add to the fact that I think all of your actions and communications are excellent. Although I did not like the 30% hike in premiums, I still appreciate all you do to help your customers. Just a great company and plan!
