What a Wonderful Experience!
Embrace has been nothing short of fabulous as we've coped with our dogs surgeries and rehab. They are prompt to respond to emails, quick to provide confirmation that they have received information, friendly, helpful... I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. They honestly exceeded my expectations. I've just recommended them to our dog walker who has not had a good experience with her own pet insurance company. I'm hoping she'll spread the word throughout our neighborhood.

They wouldn`t pay for hip surgery
I know have Petplan Insurance for my new dog, with the AKC pet insurance plan, I had to euthanize my 8 month old Rottweiler because they said they wouldn`t pay for his hip surgeries because it was hereditary. Petplan is one of the few insurances that covers hip dysplasia operations and my little guy would have been alive, now.

A great Review
They paid what they promised in a timely manner, and they were very nice to deal with. I would recommend them over all of the other pet insurance companyies.

Have never made a claim and they dropped me!
According to Pet's Best, my credit card was denied 3 times in an attemp to pay one months payment of less than $29.00. On the day P.B. called my home to say my plan was about to be dropped she did not say that there had been 3 attempts. Assuming there was only one, I asked the customer service rep to try the card one more time as I had never had this happen with any of my credit cards. I also asked to PLEASE contact me immediately if there were any other problems with the card. She said everything would be fine and to disregard the letter I would receive stating thier intention to terminate my coverage. I only stumbled upon the fact that I no longer had coverage when I called Customer Service with a question about a claim I was about to submit. She rudely replied that I was no longer covered and could not submit a claim. So,I asked to speak to a magager, as I was shocked at this turn of events. The manager proceeded to lecture me based on what her employee had told her, not even giving me a chance to speak. When I did try to speak, she yelled over me and cut me off. After a great deal of thought I called back and spoke to a very nice sales rep. (I had decided to get a lawyer and stay with the plan in order to prove that I had no intention of not paying or having it dropped.) She stated that she would have to call me during their hours of operation the next day (Saturday) because the credit card system was down. She said to contact my credit card company and try to prove that it was the bank's mistake "to give you ammunition to prove to Customer Service that it was not your fault." Not only did my credit card company inform me that their computer showed no attempt was ever made to bill my card on the dates they claimed to do so, but that I had made several other purchases on the dates they claim to have attempted to bill me. Also, they confirmed what I had already known to be true, which was that I have an excellent credit history and a $9,000 credit limit! (No reason to even be denied!) Why would they not try to keep a good customer who has never made any claims over a simple miscommunication? Maybe because they saw that my dog was ten years old when I called to ask about my potential first claim. Maybe some of the customer service personnell are good and some need to be fired. All I know is, if Pets Best does not make this right, my children will lose their beloved pet much, much sooner because we cannot afford the claim we were about to make. I fear that even though we want to reinstate this insurance company, they will be able to say that there is now a pre-existing condition. Who would intentionally not pay on a policy, when their pet is 10 years old? I've never felt so cheated in my life!

I want to embrace Embrace
I have a very sensitive dog... his breathing, ears, and stomach are very sensitive to everything. We see the vet quite often and have been with the Embrace people since he was a puppy. As everyone knows, vets can be pricey but we have always had an awesome experience with our insurance.

A-OK Pet Insurance Company
I have filed four claims with this insurance company, and each claim was processed very quickly and with excellent communication. I have no other experience with any other pet insurance company so I cannot say how Pets Best compares, but since 2007, I have been more than satisfied with their service.

They paid what they promised
When my dog was diagnosed with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, the vet asked for $1700 up front for 3 days' hospitalization. I was concerned when I received the final bill as to what the insurance would pay. To my pleasant surprise, Embrace paid every nickel other than my deductible and 10% share of cost. I have recommended Embrace to 3 of my friends who were impressed with my story. One is changing from another insurance, and the others plan to initiate coverage.

DELAY TACTICS
Perhaps they think we'll just say oh never mind?they don't get the faxes, they don't get the faxes.. they don't get an email.. give me a break. they will just try to delay it until it passes the deadline for submission.
Do they pay the vets bill? No, they pay.. sometimes....
but what they decide to pay. Is a bill from the vet stamped paid .. qualify as a paid receipt? no, they must have it written their way ..even though each vet has their own invoice style. It is all b...t. I'm very unhappy with them since my first claim. Looking around for another company.. for my pets.. I have several.. I'm told that all insurance companies all awful . that's not encouraging.

The Best!
We have had other insurances for our goldens (VPI)and we found their reimbursement not anywhere in line with what our vet charged. After thoroughly researching and comparing numerous canine insurance company plans and after several calls and emails with their professional customer service, we chose Embrace. We found that Embrace reimbursed according to charges for the area. A month ago and a little shy of 6 months after registering with Embrace, our 3.5 year old golden was diagnosed w/acute pancreatitis. We rushed him to the emergency clinic, since it was the weekend and our vet was not open. Extensive blood testing was done. X-rays were done. He ended up staying a whole day & night on I/V at the clinic, constantly being monitored. The following Monday a.m. they transported him to our vet where the monitoring and I/V continued as well as blood testing. Their customer service is excellent. Claims we faxed were promptly acknowledged via email and reimbursement was received promptly. The bill ended up being over $2000 and Embrace reimbursed us for everything they said they would. Thank you Embrace!
