Prompt, professional, helpful
We are now into our second year of insurance from Embrace for our labrador retriever mix, and could not be more pleased. We have had two occasions to date to make claims and both times the response has been prompt, professional and personal. This is our first time using pet insurance, but it's hard to imagine any better service.

The insurance company that ACTUALLY cares.
We read the reviews, looked at the services provided and decided to go with Pets Best. We are so glad we did.
Not that any pet parent wants to take their child to the doctor but surprises do happen and when those unfortunate surprises do happen... you should absolutely be prepared with Pets Best.
When our Pomeranian started having seizures last Christmas we were obviously concerned. We took him in and he was ultimately diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. PB paid a large chunk of the diagnosis costs and the subsequent medications needed to control the seizures. When the time came, they covered $100.00 toward cremation. We have 2 other dogs, 1 has a preexisting eye condition (which is not covered), and the other is young and likes to get into things. We have them both covered because you simply never know.
We highly recommend Pets Best.

Exceptional Customer Service
My vet recommended Embrace for our new dog and I'm happy that I took her advice. Our first interaction with the company resulted in a super-fast turnaround of our wellness claim, along with quick processing of our dog's orthepedic waiting period waiver. I received a prompt, personal email that both were received by the company and were being worked on. Then I got a follow-up checking to see that I got my check! Just great work. Keep it up!

Highly Recommend Embrace
I have never had health insurance for my pets before. A few years ago my Frisbee had a torn cruciate ligament, needed surgery and I was completely broke at that time. $2,500 was way out of my league financially, but I managed through an online website to raise enough donations to pay for the surgery. After that, I knew I needed insurance for my dogs so I would not have to go through that again. I researched many insurance companies and they all pretty much said the same thing, there were breed specific exclusions and things like that that did not make much sense to me. Then I found Embrace with no exclusions except routine care. That made sense to me and I bought it. Almost two years later Frisbee came down with cancer and Embrace has been behind me all the way. They reimburse payments within 15 days as they said they would and it is even automatically deposited into my checking account. Through this tough time Embrace and their representatives have been wonderful. I highly recommend Embrace to everyone who asks and lately that has been many people because of all the quality care I have been getting for Frisbee everyone wants to know how I am paying for it, since I am on disability and all. I am glad I did not cancel my policies last summer when I was trimming down my budget, this was the next thing to go and I kept it. Thank God and thank Embrace and thier representatives.

Fantastic!
My 3 year old golden retriever had a bowel obstruction after eating some type of foreign body. She needed a laparotomy, and it was so nice to be able to ensure she got the surgery and care she required without having to worry about taking on such a huge financial burden. It was incredibly easy to get reimbursed my Embrace for her care. It took me less than 1 minute to fill out my part of the paperwork and took the vet 1-2 minutes to do her part. I received my reimbursement within a week with no hassles. As a physician, I only wish it was this easy to deal with people insurance! Thank you Embrace!

Excellent!!
We've had Embrace on our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ever since we got her almost 3 years ago. It was important for us to have insurance because Cavaliers have several hereditary issues, and these are covered as long as they don't have problems prior to being insured. Well, 3 years, one UTI, tearduct surgery, and TWO knee surgeries later (with subsequent removal of pins), I am VERY pleased with Embrace. They have been extremely fair and prompt when handling our claims. Their customer service is awesome and have even checked up on us after her surgeries. I've recommended this company to everyone I know with pets. We will definitely use Embrace for all of our future dogs!

Very good service
I obtained pet insurance for my Pomeranian a little bit over two years ago; first time I've ever had a pet let alone alone pet insurance. Their claim process is user friendly and almost hassle free. I say almost because noone is perfect. I recently had to submit a bill of over $2500 and I was expecting a check within the month, as they've always processed the claims with no problem. This time, they had a question (understandably so given the large amount) but neglected to let me know. If I had not inquired, I would not have known about any issues and don't know how long it would have taken to process. Luckily I called and was told of the problem, which I was able to take care of right away. Their response time was excellent and they internally resolved the issue in record speed. Overall I was very happy with their service and especially their customer service; I spoke to a Brenda (I believe her name was) and she genuinly seemed to care about my situation and most of all my dog's well being. I appreciated that. I would highly recommend this insurance but I would also strongly suggest (as with any other insurance) for the claimant to always follow up.

They Deliver. No gimicks.
I had considered pet insurance for my cat Poppie. I decided to give Embrace a try and have never been happier! Not long after enrolling Poppie she suffered an illness. Embrace kept their promise & thanks to them, I have been able to get Poppie the care she needed to make a great recovery. I have told friends & family about what a positive experience this has been. The coverage is wonderful & affordable.

Raised my renewal fee by $329 after the first year
I am very upset with my AKC Wellness-Dog Pet Health Ins Plan.
This is my first year with Dog Insurance.
My insurance has a $125 deductible, $13,000 limit, $5,000 limit per illness or injury, 20% Co-insurance, covers annual wellness visit and shots, and twelve months supply of flea prevention.
I paid $636.00 for one year, that will end in March 2010.
During this year, my pup had to have a small growth taken off the side of his nose.
The cost was $386, including Histopathology-Fullwritten Biopsy work on the lump, 6 mos. of Advantage, Dental cleaning, Medicine, Blood work and the initial Physical Exam.
It was a normal growth, nothing bad.
The Insurance Company reimbursed me $209.42.
I had to pay the $125 deductible and my 20% Co-Insurance.
They did get that to me in approximately thirty days.
They still have to pay for his Annual shots, before March this year, too.
I just recieved my renewal notice and they have increase my fee to $965.00 Annual.
That's a $329 increase! So every year are they going to continue to increase this?
I am very upset and will probably look else where for Pet Insurance.
You can bet I will be telling everyone not to waste their time or money buying AKC Pet Insurace.
I am rating them a 1 because I do not like how they raise the renewal fee $329 in one year!
