ASPCA Pet Insurance
I have ASPCA pet insurance for my two dogs, Connie and Cheech. Cheech is 2 years old and Connie is 8 months old. I have had to make 2 claims for Cheech and thus far have been very satisfied.

As with any company you will have negative and positive experiences. My experience with ASPCA has been positive thus far. I have 2 senior cats and a new baby. I only wished I had bought the insurance before on my two other cats, whom are now deceased. My cat Mandy developed liver disease and had I had insurance it would have help me with the costs incured with her illness.
Also my other cat Ember suffered from Lymphoma then kidney disease from the chemo treatments. If I had the insurance it would have helped, even though there is that little clause that states more treatemtn will not be covered with in a 12 month peroid after diagnosis. Even so any help would be great. I paid out of my pocket for her chemo treatments and kindey meds/treatments over 2.75 years at least $30,000. Had I had insurace that number would have been less.
I only wish that they come up with a way that the Vets can submit your claim for you with the reimbursement being sent to the Vets and where we pay a co-payment every visit. I do think that when this happens more and more people will purchase pet insurance

Thank Goodness for Pets Best!
Let's face it, the majority of the population doesn't have several extra thousand(s) of dollars to throw around on people emergencies let alone pet emergencies. I can't afford to lose $2,000 or more to get my dog out of the emergency hospital knowing I won't get it back, but I can however afford $36.22 per month per pet and since I have two dogs I even get a discount! With Pets Best you get 80% back less your deductible and although it's not quite as high as some of the other insurances at 90%, according to my vet and based on personal experience these guys don't jerk you around, if you have a claim you submit it, and then you get a check or now you even get direct deposit, and you'll even have it before it's time to pay off that credit card you just racked up!! I'd rather sacrifice that 10% knowing that for sure I'm going to get my money back and to get it quick without any issues!!! Oh, and the customer service staff are friendly too, imagine that!! My dogs are not just pets, they are loved ones and part of our family and I would treat them just as I would a person and thanks to Pets Best I know I can actually afford to give my dogs the best care possible without losing my house and cashing out my retirement and selling off everything I own!!

Wellness
I recently submitted my dog's first wellness claim results via email to Embrace and a day later I heard back from a representative that the claims were accepted and to expect reimbursement within 10 business days. I was shocked at how quickly it was processed but more importantly how quickly it was acknowledged.

I Wish My Health Insurance was this Good!!!
My dog ate my wife's underwear had to have emergency surgery to get it out of his stomach and intestine. I live in NYC so the vet is SUPER expensive. The bill was $4780!Trupanion paid 90% no hassle... and I had a check within 7 days!
The fact that they do not have procedure coverage limits is key.
Highly recommended!

Pet Health Insurance Worked For Us
My testimonial:
When we picked up our puppy Nelly from SPCA, we thought it might be a good idea to look into pet insurance. Our first dog, a Border Collie named JJ, had been diagnosed at a young age with hip dysplasia, but we had no insurance for him, and treatment was costly and continued throughout his life. JJ is now 12, and has cancer of the kidney. Thanks to the health insurance we did purchase for both dogs last year, we have been able to recoup a good percent of the costs of his care during his final days. Purchasing pet health insurance with ASPCA has turned out to be a good move for us. Just as human health insurance helps to reduce the financial burden of care, this product for our pets has made a big difference for us financially. Pets can become sick or injured, just like we can – and it’s nice to know there’s help out there when things go wrong. Thank you ASPCA!

Insurance to prolong my Dog's life
Because of this insurance I can afford Diabetes treatment for my 12yr old female Blue Heeler/Spanial dog. In the past I have had to put cats to sleep because the cost to treat them was too expensive. ASPCA makes sending in forms easy and fast. Also they provide many levels of insurance coverage, the monthly payment is well worth the life of my companion. Even when I had a surgery and was a couple weeks late on my payment they got me back on track without losing coverage for Coqui.I just got my first receipts into the office. When I called they looked up my documents to tell me they were in process. I think it is important to cover your pet with insurance because they are part of your family.

A literal lifesaver for Duchess.........
This insurance has turned out to be a better investment than my healthcare insurance, dollar for dollar. I've had dogs most of my 63 years, but never got pet insurance until the summer of 2008 when I made the decision to buy some for my female pitbull Duchess. I found Duchess in the woods in GA about 5 years ago. She was in poor condition, having been overused for breeding and fighting purposes. She recovered from her injuries and severe heartworm infestation and was healthy until later in 2008. She was attacked by a much larger and younger male pitbull and suffered many deep bites and lacerations before I retrieved my gun and killed the other dog. I took her to pet emergency where she was stabilized and kept overnight. The next morning I picked her up and took her to our regular veterinarian, Walt Gregg, who did the surgeries that morning. The bill from both facilities was more than $1100.00. I submitted the billing, a copy of the medical records and the claim form to ASPCA Insurance via fax, got reimbursed more than $650.00 and the check arrived within a couple weeks of when I submitted the claim. It was better service than from my own healthcare insurance plan! Had that been the only time I needed to use the insurance it would be worth continuing to pay the small monthly premium anyway. But, in late October 2009 Duchess stopped walking. The expenses really were not that much so I was not going to file a claim for them. Then, after two months of no improvement I was referred to a neurosurgeon and as part of the appointment, Duchess had a MRI. Ultimately, I submitted two claims to ASPCA Insurance that totaled more than $2800.00, this time emailing the claim! Being able to either fax or email the claim saved so much time and effort! I received $1500.00 reimbursement and it again arrived within a couple or three weeks. If I did not have this insurance I could not have afforded to get the MRI for Duchess and consequently she would not have gotten an accurate diagnosis. Moreover, her condition was so bad the day I took her for the appointment and MRI that had I not gotten good news I was going to put her down the next day. But, knowing I had coverage and what the limit was ($1500) I was able to get the treatment Duchess needed and now she is very much improved. So in a very real way, Duchess is only alive and now enjoying her life because I had ASPCA insurance. For her it was a virtual life saver!

Simply Outstanding Service!!
I am beyond wonderfully pleased with Embrace! We acquired our insurance in Dec 2009. After having paid only TWO months of dues, our 3 year old English Mastiff had a rare occurrence, a twisting of his small intestine, which ultimately sent him into emergency surgery and a week-long, touch-and-go stay in the hospital. I called Embrace to make them aware of the situation and inquire about and verify our coverage in order to make a decision about treatment. They were kind and concerned and assured me of our coverage and limits, enabling us to make an informed choice. These decisions are so difficult to make in an emergent moment, but I felt we had made a great choice in Embrace when I did the research to purchase pet insurance. We ended up with over $12,000 in costs for treatment and Embrace paid every cent of our $10,000 annual limit!! Again, after only two months of payments from us! What a testimony of integrity and reliability in a company! Embrace will have my business for years to come and I would, and do, recommend them to every pet owner I know!!
