very helpful
I have been a member of Petshealth Insurance for over 10 years. It has proven to be a very trustworthy insurance company. I have submitted many claims over the years fo my three dogs, and this company has come through when we needed them the most. My black lab was very ill when he was younger, and Petshealth paid for my dog's medical bills and prescriptions. Recently, my two year old Rottweiler mix tore her ligament in her knee, and Petshealth covered 80% of her surgery (over $1,300). Thank goodness for Petshealth!

Good so far.
I have two Bostin Terriers and they are quit active.Since we adopted them, we have had a few issues, from a scratched eye on one to bowel obstruction on the other. So far, ASPCA has covered all. It has been nice to not worry too much about vet bills. The only thing that my policy states is that if there is a pre-existing/recurring illness or injury that exists prior to the plan period effective date and has not had 180 days since diagnosis, cure and last treatment, they will not cover it. Also, multiple incidents of foreign object ingestion in a 12 month period. Hopefully I do not run into this problem. Other then that, I have been very satisfied.

VERY GOOD INSURANCE
I HAVE HAD OTHER INSURANCES ON MY PET BUT ASPCA IS THE BEST YET. ASPCA HAS REEMBURSED ME FOR MY VET BILLS WERE THE OTHERS SAID IT WAS NOT COVERED. MY VET EVEN SAIDS HE WOULD RECOMEND THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE INSURANCE ON THERE PET. ASPCA IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN ANY OTHER OF THE ONES I HAVE HAD AND PAYS OUT MORE.

Pretty Good
So far, I have been very pleased with the insurance, including easy forms to fill out, fair reimbursement, and the fast payment of claims.

I wish Embrace covered humans!
We were really careful in researching and choosing insurance for our english bulldog, and are very glad we chose embrace. They have covered breed specific issues. They have been easy to use, prompt with refunds and helpful on the phone. One of the best customer service experiences i've ever had! no joke!! from an insurance company?!?! I am always amazed at how quickly they come back to me with information re claims and certification without my even asking!

Like, with one exception
Some "people" insurance companies could learn something about customer service from ASPCA. I've been with them starting my fourth year. I have two cats and one dog. I have the middle of the road policy. They are great to respond and quick to get reimbursements to me. I like their online explanation of benefits. The only thing I do not like is that each year, if my dog had an illness the last month of the year, that same illness would not be covered the first month of the new policy year. The dog would have to be "cured" for 180 days before they would consider covering it. This is my first company I ever had insurance with. I will look into other options if they do not change that policy.

This insurance is a good investment
We decided to get the ASPCA pet insurance right after we got our 6 week old golden retriever puppy last year. The vet gave us the information. My husband and I know that unexpected expenses can happen (we have two children). It is just nice to know that we will have some help financially if we need it. We have had two close calls with him eating things he should not. In both cases, we had to take him to the vet and do the workup because he had apparent digestive blockages. Goldens are known for chewing everything. The insurance has also helped with the well checks, but we got it primarily for the unexpected. We are very happy that we chose the ASPCA insurance.
