Super Quick and Easy Claims Process
My 5 month old golder retriever needed surgery to correct a growth plate fracture on his left leg. Embrace processed my claim in a matter of days and I received payment in under a week. The customer service and response time was very fast friendly and professional for any questions that I had. The most important part was there were no surprises when it came to the reimbursement. I was reimbursed based on the plan that I signed up for. I would highly recommend embrace.

Been a Lifesaver
Petshealth Plan has been one of the best things I did when I adopted my dog from the pound 7 years ago. He has had a lot of strange issues and they have been great about paying the 80%. I would be out thousands of dollars by now if I didn't have this insurance. I am reimbursed quickly and that helps a lot too.

Easy and hassle free
I recently had to take my cat to the emergency vet clinic because he was blocked, and could not pee. His treatment included a three night stay, catheters, test, etc.. I filed my claim online with Petsbest insurance, and received a check within two weeks. This was the second claim I have had to file with Petsbest, and the first was nearly as easy.

Healthy Paws Saved my dog's life!
I really debated about getting pet insurance, especially since Lola had already faced so many health issues as a puppy. However, in a time of crisis I can’t describe how thankful I am to have insurance through Healthy Paws.
In March, after Lola’s fourth birthday she started acting strangely and I knew something was wrong. I took her to the Emergency Hospital where I was told she had kidney failure and her prognosis was not looking good. A very delicate and highly complicated surgery was my only option. This surgery alone cost at least $5,000, not including the $2,000 for other tests and hospitalization I had done to get the diagnosis! The fact that the financial burden of the surgery didn’t have to be my deciding factor was HUGE. If it wasn’t for Healthy Paws, I can’t begin to explain how much harder that decision would have been.
What Healthy Paws did to take care of us went above and beyond what I had expected from any insurance company. First of all, I didn’t have the $3,000 deposit to begin the surgery and had to borrow it from my parents. Healthy Paws rushed the claim payment so I could repay my parents within a few days. They also had a 15-day waiting period, as most insurance companies do and Lola’s first doctor visit addressing this issue was on the 15th day, and yet they still covered her! They delivered on their promise and paid out what they said they would.

Embrace is so amazing!!
I just received an awesome news today. I filed a pre-certification for a root canal on my Italian Greyhound. He chipped his back molar and the live pulp was exposed...I needed the help quickly. This precertification was not supposed to be straightforward since they usually don't cover root canal except for canine teeth. However, one of the representative on the phone told me to at least try to file for it with the dentist's letter for justification. To be honest, I didn't have much expectation. I thought they'll just go by the books like any other insurance companies. Boy, I was wrong!! All representatives I talked to were so sympathetic for my Lucious and extremely helpful. They have expedited the decision process when I mentioned that the infection can spread further if we wait too long. Reimbursement is always fast too. I just love this company and the caring people who work for Embrace. They are sincere, polite, and extremely helpful. I feel safe with Embrace. I definitely recommend them to anybody! I gave 9 only because when I call to talk to a specific person I tend to get somebody else because the person is unavailable. I just have to explain the situation again, but it doesn't matter much since everyone overthere is so nice!

I recommend Trupanion to every pet owner I know
A few months ago we adopted brother and sister twin kittens. Being a new pet owner I was new to the idea of pet insurance. I was offered a free 30 day trial of Trupanion and decided to give it a try. Not even two weeks later, I came home to find one of my cats, Roku, extremely sick. He had vomited and barely had enough energy to lift his head from where he was lying. Our vet recommended bringing him into the clinic immediately. After being examined, Roku’s blood pressure was dangerously low and the vet was concerned. To complicate matters it was Friday and the vet clinic was closed for the weekend. At my vet’s recommendation I took Roku to an emergency clinic where they had to perform emergency surgery for a possible blocked intestine. They had strong suspicions that he might have swallowed a foreign object or that he had contracted FIP (feline intestinal paracytosis) which is a deadly disease in cats. So one surgery and multiple tests later, the clinic bill had skyrocketed to over $4000. Not exactly the kind of money you keep lying around. I was freaked out by the bill but knew that I had the Trupanion trial. After submitting my claim, I was reimbursed for 90% of the entire bill, no questions asked. I had the check in my hands before the charge was even printed on my credit card statement. All of this and I hadn’t even made my first monthly payment to Trupanion.
Roku completely recovered from his surgery and is totally healthy today. Who knows how things would have gone

A pet insurance company that "pays it forward"!
Like many other pet owners,I have struggled with making the decision to get pet insurance or not, then struggled with which company to go with. Then Healthy Paws came along. Yes, it is a new company, but after talking with them they are a team of animal lovers trying to help the homeless pet problem in the U.S. and have the business knowledge/experience to make their mission come alive. We run a hard to adopt dog rescue out of our home & have several long term residents to care for; we would have a hard time financially if one of our own tore their ACL or came down with a serious medical issue. Healthy Paws has finally given us peace of mind, and we know our premium is being put to work to help the cause we are committed to. We have had positive experiences with the entire process: questions before enrolling, enrolling on line, filing a claim & reimbursement.

fast service
I am a vet tech and I use embrace to cover what my employee discounts do not. I have never had an issue getting things paid for, even with the latest products for heartworm and flea, or new vaccinations. I have known other companies to not remburse customers for those things. I also always get my money direct deposited in a short amount of time.
